Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim Variant Is Not Coming To The US? New Report Confirms It For 39 Countries Only

Samsung's Galaxy S25 Slim is skipping the US.

There is already a massive anticipation for the upcoming Galaxy S25 series which will be unveiled by Samsung later this week via the Unpacked event, but new rumors are already bringing down hopes for US users. In a new report, it was revealed that Samsung will not bring the Galaxy S25's "Slim" variant to the country when it drops later this year, and American users are only getting the three standard versions of the device.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim Is Not Coming To The US

A new report from PhoneArena unveiled that the upcoming Galaxy S25 Slim is not coming to the United States despite the company unveiling it later this week via the Unpacked event that will be held in San Jose. This was based on a recently acquired list of territories which listed the countries that will be receiving the thinner variant of the smartphonewhich would be available later this year.

There are massive expectations and fame for the Galaxy S25 Slim variant as it would feature the thinnest from this series, and it is set to only measuring 6.4 millimeters in thickness which is 1.8mm thinner compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Like its upcoming siblings, the Galaxy S25 Slim would also feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset that is more capable of running AI systems and experiences, paired with 12GB of RAM, and more.

Only 39 Countries Are Getting the Galaxy S25 Slim

The US is known to be one of the major markets for Samsung's smartphone lineup, especially the Galaxy S series flagship. However, it will also be a limited release that will only be available to 39 countries worldwide and is not exactly a wide release.

According to the report, it will be available on these territories only: Afghanistan. Australia, Austria, Brazil, Caucasus, Croatia, Egypt, France, India, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia/Montenegro, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

Samsung's Galaxy S25 Series Is Coming Soon

There is massive excitement that was built up behind the South Korean tech giant's Galaxy S25 series as it is set to deliver another significant release for the flagship lineup, following its success with the S24 series. However, while there are not many changes coming to the next-gen smartphone, it will feature a Galaxy S25 Slim variant that would go toe-to-toe against Apple's iPhone 17 Air later this year.

Right at the start of the year, the rumors behind the Galaxy S25 series have been coming from many sources as its unveiling date is nearing, with the first Unpacked event of the year set to share the latest developments from Samsung. That being said, it was rumored that Samsung will feature four colors for the S25 base models including Silver, Navy, Icy Blue, and Mint, while the S25 Ultra will offer Titanium Silver Blue, Titanium Black, and Titanium Gray.

After initially being rumored that the Galaxy S25 series would feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, later leaks claimed that it will instead equip the new flagship chipset from the company, its Snapdragon 8 Elite. Despite the nearing showcase of the Galaxy S25 series, more rumors are coming in to share more intricate details behind the device, including its Galaxy S25 Slim variant that would be avoiding US availability.
