CES 2025 is really mesmerizing in its own way—the weirdest gadgets we have seen so far are here. Intelligent Cranium Helmets' latest offering in the list features the world's smartest AI motorcycle helmet.
The innovation from this startup promises to give extreme rider protection through enhanced visibility, crash detection, and seamless connectivity—all fused together in one high-tech helmet.
Smart Helmet Features for Ultimate Rider Safety
360-Degree Visual Awareness
The most striking aspect of the latest AI helmet is its advanced 240-degree field of view. It smartly minimizes blind spots—one of the major safety hazards in the case of motorcyclists—and allows them to see automobiles and obstacles without having to turn their heads around.
The action camera, in the front part of the helmet, covers an angle of 120 degrees; therefore, in total, this would add to 300 degrees of vision. This panoramic awareness reduces the chances of accidents that often occur when a rider momentarily looks away from the road.
Crash Detection and Automatic 911 Alert
In case of an accident, this helmet can sense the crash and automatically dial 911 if the rider does not move for more than 15 seconds. Interesting Engineering treats this as a lifesaving feature that guarantees help will arrive without the rider having to manually call for emergency services. The helmet stays in contact with the rider, establishing a line of communication until help arrives.

AI and HUD Technology for Enhanced Rider Assistance
Proximity Alert and Lane Departure Warning
Just like modern cars, this AI helmet is equipped with a proximity alert system. This system warns the rider when they are drifting out of their lane, providing a critical layer of protection against potential side collisions with other vehicles. This feature helps the rider maintain their position on the road and react swiftly to dangerous situations.
Heads-Up Display (HUD)
The helmet has an intuitive heads-up display (HUD) that drops down to deliver crucial information without distracting the rider. The HUD will ensure that all relevant data—speed, navigation prompts, and incoming messages—are delivered in a convenient manner so the rider is always focused on the road.
Connectivity and Usability: Motorcycle Communication At its Finest
Seamless Communication and Connectivity
This intelligent helmet comes with advanced Bluetooth technology and a mesh communication system, offering three modes of communication. Riders can stay connected with their group or network, no matter how far they are from others. The system eliminates distance limitations, ensuring continuous communication while on long rides or through remote areas.
Voice-Activated Recording
Riders can now record their rides in high-definition video without requiring any additional devices. Using simple voice commands such as "Hey, record my ride," the action camera inside the helmet starts recording. This does away with the need for external cameras like GoPro or Insta360, making it easier for riders to document their rides and adventures effortlessly.
Long Battery Life and Comfort Optimization
This technology will provide an astonishing battery life of 5 to 7 hours based on usage. While the current size of the battery is a little larger than preferred, the company is working very hard to decrease the weight of the helmet.
By mid-2024, Intelligent Cranium Helmets has committed to reducing the weight of the helmet from 3.7 kg to 3.3–3.4 kg so that it enhances the comfort level of the riders without compromising the safety of the rider.
Motorcycle Helmets for the Future
According to Intelligent Cranium Helmets, this smart helmet doesn't just protect; it empowers riders with technology that enhances their overall riding experience.
The integration of safety, comfort, and connectivity in this helmet marks a new shift in the motorcycle industry. Sooner, riders shall enjoy safer, more connected rides as well as more pleasurable rides.
