Samsung Galaxy S25 Leak: European Retail Listing Hints on Price Increases For Each Color Options

The leak does not sound appealing to European customers.

With the official launch date of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series just a little over a fortnight away on Jan. 22, leaks began flooding the internet, giving users a glimpse of the upcoming series. This much-hyped flagship portfolio is going to include the likes of Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra and now, fresh details for European markets reveal the pricing color options and configurations of storage variants.

If these leaks are valid, that means that Samsung is preparing for a price hike over last year's Galaxy S24 series.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Expected Price in Europe

In recent weeks, an unknown European retail listing leaked prices of the Galaxy S25 series ahead of its official launch. Color variants as well as storage variations are also included. As per the leaked information gathered by 91Mobiles, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will have an increase in prices and will fall between €60 and over €100 from the predecessors.

The price hike should spill over other parts of the world, the main reason of which is that Samsung can use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite around the whole world.

Galaxy S25 Pricing and Storage Options

According to the rumors, the base model, the Galaxy S25, will come in four colors: Silver, Navy, Icy Blue, and Mint. There will be three options for storage:

  • 128 GB: €964.90
  • 256 GB: €1,026.90
  • 512 GB: €1,151.90

These prices are a little premium over the launch prices of the Galaxy S24. The hike is probably due to the inclusion of cutting-edge features, such as the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and other improvements, which are expected to enhance the overall user experience.

Galaxy S25 Plus Price and Storage Variants

For those users wanting a larger display and more storage, the Galaxy S25 Plus will have the same color options as the base S25 model but in two different storage configurations:

  • 256 GB: €1,235.90
  • 512 GB: €1,359.90

Galaxy S25 Plus pricing is pretty high and definitely increases compared to the previous generation. The point is that Samsung focuses on offering a premium experience with more significant internal upgrades and performance capabilities.

Galaxy S25 Ultra Price and Storage Variants

The flagship model of the series, Galaxy S25 Ultra, will come in three unique colors: Titanium Silver Blue, Titanium Black, and Titanium Gray. The following storage configurations with prices are reportedly leaked:

  • 256 GB: €1,557.90
  • 512 GB: €1,681.90
  • 1 TB: €1,930.89

For those who want the ultimate smartphone experience, the Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with massive storage options, a 1TB variant for users who need the highest capacity. But there is no Titanium White Silver color option on the list, which might be disappointing for some users.

Why the Price Hike? The Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset Explained

Phone Arena reports that the price hike for the Galaxy S25 series may shock some, but there is a logical reason behind it. Samsung has traditionally used its in-house Exynos chips for the Galaxy S series outside the US, Canada, and China. However, this time around, all three models are expected to feature Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset globally.

While Snapdragon chips cost more, they are better in performance and power efficiency compared to previous Exynos models.

Apparently, Samsung's production challenge is one of the main factors driving up prices. Reports indicated that Samsung Foundry has yet to achieve its desired 70% yield rate in producing 3nm process chips. These process chips are of high importance because they are for mass production.

Due to such failure, it's said Samsung has resorted to the use of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite to bring about superior performance for consumers but at a steep price.

How This Affects Other Markets

As noted, smartphones in Europe are generally more expensive than in other parts of the world because of taxes, import fees, and other regulations. However, the price increases that are currently being observed in Europe are expected to spill over into other markets as well, including the US.

While the pricing for other regions is not yet known, consumers can expect a higher starting price for the Galaxy S25 series compared to previous models.

If it's true as the leaked reports say, that the entire Galaxy S25 series should be the greatest device with out-of-this-world features—then these smart devices will be a catch for tech nerds and every Samsung fan ever.
