The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) hosts the largest tech event during the start of the new year, and so far, CES 2025 did not disappoint with the many innovations introduced by respective companies, including wearable technology. There have been many companies to debut wearable tech during this year's CES event, but there are a notable few who stood out in the tech landscape.

From breathtaking innovations to out-of-this-world technology, CES 2025 saw another definition of development from various companies, with many unexpected mind-blowing gadgets that graced the halls and stages.

Garmin Instinct 3

The world has waited for a long time for a new Garmin Instinct smartwatch from the company, as many fans anticipated the third iteration of the series for quite some time before they introduced it this CES 2025. Garmin debuted the Instinct 3 with a feature-packed showcase that promises massive upgrades on the smartwatch lineup, offering a more rugged design than the Instinct 2 Solar.

However, the smartwatch went more than a redesign, particularly as it offers a new solar technology which Garmin claimed to offer as much as 5 times more battery life than the previous version, an AMOLED version, a flashlight, and more. The Garmin Instinct 3 starts at $449, available in two sizes, and will open orders this January 10.

Circular Ring 2

Circular made a massive splash at CES 2025, and while the company did not 'wow' the world much when it debuted the Circular Ring, the company more than made up for it with the Circular Ring 2. Unveiled during the event, the Ring 2 offers a more advanced smart ring wearable that offers an intuitive sizing process where users only need to use an app and their smartphone camera for the right fit.

Not only that, but it also offers the first FDA-approved AFib (atrial fibrillation) detection algorithm to detect unusual activity in one's cardiovascular muscle and will begin crowdfunding later this month, then ship by March starting at $380.

Amazfit Active 2

The Chinese wearable brand known as Amazfit made a massive upgrade to their Active smartwatch with the Amazfit Active 2, and is one of the cheapest and feature-packed smartwatches on the list. Despite it coming in yet again at an affordable price starting at $100, it already features a stainless steel body, AMOLED display options, 10 days of battery life, and more.

Moreover, Amazfit's Active 2 will also come with offline maps, over 160 sports modes, and a premium version featuring sapphire glass and a Europe-exclusive NFC chip that is not set to hurt one's pockets. It is now available to pre-order in the US and will be globally available by February.

Ultrahuman Rare

Then this one from Ultrahuman which it calls "Rare," is the one for you as it is one of the most expensive wearables in the market that is almost at a $2,000 starting price. Ultrahuman Rare promises a luxurious look and feel for users as it is coated in the coveted metals, offering three colorways including gold, platinum, and rose gold.

It will be exclusive to its retail outlets in Printemps in Paris, France, and Selfridges in London, U.K., starting at $1,900 and can cost users more depending on their choices. That being said, it also features massive health-tracking capabilities including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, stress data, and more.

Suunto Aqua

Suunto established itself as one of the top-known fitness brands in the world, but this time, one of their biggestinnovations for this year is their waterproof headphones called the Suunto Aqua. These new fitness headphones feature an IP68 waterproof rating, 10 hours of battery life, 32GB storage, and an AI-powered coach that can track swimming metrics to better your exercise or practice.
