The beef that Elon Musk has over Sam Altman and OpenAI is not yet over, and he has made this apparent in a comment he shared via X earlier today when he called the executive "Little Finger." This character is a famous antagonist from George R.R. Martin's novels and HBO's Game of Thrones series, best known for being the manipulative Master of Coin of the Small Council.
Like the famed antagonist which fans of the series wanted badly gone, Altman is now the only remaining executive of OpenAI from the iconic four who ran the popular artificial intelligence company.
Elon Musk Compares OpenAI's Sam Altman to 'Little Finger'
There is a chip on Elon Musk's shoulder, and it is directed to Sam Altman, and this was recently highlighted by his repost on X in which he called OpenAI's CEO and founder "Little Finger."
In the post, Musk did not hold back on his comparison of Altman to the Game of Thrones antagonist, and many users on the platform supported his statement against the rival executive.
The specific post that Musk reacted to shows a photo of four OpenAI executives including Sam Altman, together with co-founders Greg Brockman and Ilya Sutskever, and former CTO Mira Murati.
The photo shows the three executives vanishing one by one, with only Altman left. It is known that Murati and Sutskever both departed from the company, while Brockman went on a leave.

Why Did Musk Use a Game of Thrones Reference?
Musk's use of a Game of Thrones reference shows what a big fan he is, and it was because Little Finger is known for being the cunning and manipulative character who sown chaos throughout the series. He is also known to be among the "last man standing" (like Altman) in his quest to take over, well, the throne.
Elon Musk's Beef with OpenAI and Sam Altman
It is known throughout the world that Elon Musk has beef with OpenAI's Sam Altman, and this is an executive he once worked with during the early days of the company, being one of its co-founders and investors when it first started. Previously, Musk left OpenAI because of their differences, and it is a topic that he was vocal about online, especially with Microsoft's "executive license" with the AI company.
Earlier this year, Musk made his grievances official against OpenAI by suing the company and its chief executive, Sam Altman, for alleged breach of AI contracts in their deal with Microsoft. However, OpenAI was quick to respond to this lawsuit from Musk, revealing their past emails and exposing the tech billionaire about his plans to merge OpenAI with Tesla.
More famously, Musk also launched his very own artificial intelligence company known as xAI, following his 'X' branding which 'aims to deliver the everything app,' to rival OpenAI starting with its Grok chatbot.
One of the most recent moves from Musk was to reopen its lawsuit against OpenAI, and now, he is exercising his free speech by referring to Altman as Little Finger, only showing that the beef is still present between them.
