Sony InZone M10S: 1st Esports OLED Monitor Now Available for $1,100 but Is It Worth It?

Sony is diving in to esports with its new InZone M10S OLED monitor.

Sony has now unveiled the latest generation of its INZONE gaming monitors, which features its first-ever esports-inclined OLED displays that would deliver a significant experience in the competitive market. This follows up on last year's release of the INZONE gaming monitors but is known for causing a considerable stir in the market for its notorious stands, sharing the latest device to add to one's arsenal.

The multinational tech company also shared that this new batch of INZONE monitors was co-developed with Fnatic, one of the world's leading esports teams, with two new displays in the lineup.

The latest announcement by Sony (via PR Newswire) brought forth its two new gaming monitors for the public, showcasing its INZONE line of professional displays that are now diving into the world of esports. The INZONE M10S gaming monitor now equips an OLED screen, focusing on a 27-inch model that delivers "competitive features" for the pro community.

According to Sony, they co-developed these new monitors with Fnatic, best known for their esports industry accolades. They have designed these new models to be "tournament ready," with massive features.

Sony INZONE OLED Gaming Monitor New Releases

The INZONE M10S offers a humongous refresh rate at 480 Hz, touting its 0.03ms response time available at 1440p QHD resolution, claiming it can deliver "quick and responsive" gameplay.

Sony also claimed that this aligns with its array of "premium displays." In addition to its gaming features, the M10S also delivers a new 24.5-inch mode, which can display games at a 1:1 resolution at 1332p and still at 480Hz. FPS Pro+ is also tuned for the new experience. It uses its OLED screen to deliver unique contrast and colors, 1300-nits HDR peak brightness, DCI-P3 98.5 percent color gamut, housed in a 4-side borderless design.

On the other hand, Sony also unveiled its INZONE M9II, a revamp of last year's M9, which now features 4K resolution, 27-inch IPS display, 160Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, 750nits peak brightness, DCI-P3 95 percent, and markets it for the PS5.
