Fortnite 'Bye Bye Bye' Emote Is Here, Featuring *NSYNC, Deadpool & Wolverine's Iconic Dance

The Deadpool & Wolverine craze is not yet over on Fortnite.

The TikTok and social media famous 'Bye Bye Bye' dance that was made popular by Marvel's recent smash hit, Deadpool & Wolverine, is now in Epic Games' Fortnite as an emote that players can buy and use all over the battle island. For those who have seen the movie, this is one of the most iconic scenes— albeit violent- but raging on to be a modern trend globally.

It is part of the recent Fortnite x Marvel crossover, which is live on its most recent Chapter 5 Season 4 release. It features Absolute Doom and brings another rowdy superhero comic action to the battle royale.

Fortnite Brings 'Bye Bye Bye' Dance Emote on Item Shop

The latest announcement from Fortnite confirms one of the biggest emotes to arrive on the battle royale, now bringing Deadpool's iconic Bye Bye Bye dance for all to enjoy. The iconic *NSYNC song from the year 2000 and the 2024 dance choreography modified by the movie are available for players to dance on the battle island, whether a dance-off against other players or using this emote to celebrate their victory.

The Bye Bye Bye emote is part of the Icon Series introduced in Chapter 5, Season 4, now available on the Item Shop and is priced at 500 V-Bucks.

It is also part of the latest Fortnite x Marvel crossover. However, while it does not feature a new Deadpool (Wade Wilson) skin to accompany the song, there is a variant of Wolverine as a banana, a.k.a. Peelverine.

However, gamers may still enjoy the previous Deadpool skins, including their latest drop of Gwenpool.

*NSYNC, Deadpool & Wolverine's Iconic, Trending Dance

Deadpool & Wolverine made *NSYNC's most popular song famous again after featuring it in one of the movie's third acts, with Wade Wilson dancing to its beat, performing the iconic routine while adding a few personal touches to it, especially in the credits scene.

It became a massive trend online, with many content creators joining in to recreate the iconic dance, thanks to Deadpool & Wolverine.

What to Expect From Fortnite x Marvel's New Crossover

Epic Games and Marvel Comics have long maintained a relationship that shares both IPs to bring one of the most significant crossovers in video game history, featuring the many heroes, villains, and more as part of the battle royale. Fortnite x Marvel has always been a treat to fans of both pop culture phenomena, with the most recent before this being Guardians of the Galaxy's Drax the Destroyer arriving in the game.

As teased last mid-August, Epic Games and The Walt Disney Company have partnered for an all-new collaboration that would feature more of Marvel, Star Wars, The Incredibles, and Disney's content on Fortnite.

It was also during this announcement at the D23 Expo that another Fortnite x Marvel crossover is happening, and it will focus on Victor von Doom as part of the Chapter 5 Season 4 theme, Absolute Doom.

Sadly, this crossover will not yet feature the previously-leaked arrival of the Fantastic Four, primarily as Doctor Doom is best known to be its main villain in the comics.

Despite this, Absolute Doom is still expected to deliver an epic brawl in the battle royale, with players now given the chance to do it to the tune of *NSYNC's Bye Bye Bye.
