Less than two weeks after Elon Musk and his social media company announced that it is closing X's Brazil offices, the platform is now banned in the country after receiving orders from the Brazilian Supreme Court. The order was handed down by Justice Alexandre de Moraes after X failed to assign a new legal representative in the country, after clearing house in the country.

Brazil's telco regulator imposed the ban on X after missing a court-issued deadline, particularly after events where Musk and the social media upheld their rights to free speech.

That being said, it remains available on the Apple App Store. With this, users are still trying to access X using VPNs, but violators would be charged with a daily fine of $9,000 or 50,000 Brazilian real.

One of the largest AT&T outages this year took place last week, August 27, but not only did it affect access to its network. Various iPhone users who are also AT&T subscribers claimed that they were left stuck on iOS' Emergency SOS via Satellite mode and were unable to do normal tasks like sending texts, accepting or making calls, or accessing the internet via mobile data.

It was revealed that when the outage hit, iPhone 14 Pro and later users saw their device go into SOS mode, and some users were stuck on this for quite some time.

Hours later, AT&T claimed that the issue was already fixed, but this left users unable to get out of SOS mode as it is known for having problems after being activated. Users were left to scour the internet for ways to get out of this mode.
