The new iPad mini 7 may be coming soon according to the latest reports as it was said that the old iPad mini 6 has run out of stock among Apple Stores, hinting at the next-gen model. It seems that the latest confirmation of the "It's Glowtime" Apple September event would not be exclusive to the iPhone 16 series and its accessories, as possibly, another device will see an update soon.
Many customers are already anticipating the arrival of the next iPad mini, with massive rumors expecting it this year.
Apple iPad mini 7 is Reportedly Coming Sooner Than You Think
Bloomberg's renowned Apple analyst and reporter, Mark Gurman, revealed that the old iPad mini 6 is significantly low on stock in various Apple Stores, and this suggests that the iPad mini 7 is nearing. According to Gurman, this stock depletion of the old miniature iPad "in several configs" is hinting at an upcoming announcement that will deliver a refresh to the lineup.
With these hints and stock issues of the old device, Gurman claimed that Apple may be gearing up for its announcement. Additionally, 9to5Mac claimed that there is a 50 percent chance that it would be announced alongside the iPhone 16 event known as "It's Glowtime," or wait for the usual October iPad event.
It is expected that Apple Intelligence would be integrated into the iPad mini 7, among other features.

Old iPad Mini 6 Ran Out of Stock on Apple Stores
It was also revealed by Gurman that he was told that internally, the iPad mini 6 device is already considered a "constrained" device within Apple.
Historically, Cupertino is known for taking down the Apple Store whenever an announcement event is coming, making way for the new device's arrival. However, this is a stock change from Cupertino and not a downed system.
Apple's iPad mini 7th Generation Expectations
The renowned Apple tablet has many variations, from the classic one, down to its largest Pro variants, with the light version known as the 'Air,' and lastly, the smallest version known as its 'mini.' However, the last release from Apple on the iPad mini was with its sixth generation which was made available in 2021, and it is notorious for its jelly scrolling issue.
Massive expectations in the past year claim that the iPad mini 7 is finally making a debut in 2024, with Apple already ending its three-year drought to deliver this smaller form-factor device.
It is expected to deliver a fix on the jelly scrolling issue, but more importantly, a new A17 Bionic chip that may feature Apple Intelligence, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and new colors.
While it is surprising that Apple is still selling a three-year-old device in the form of the iPad mini 6, its stock issues point out to a humongous hint of an impending refresh. Now, a renowned Apple analyst shared that this low stock is pointing to a possible new release this year, with the iPad mini 7 expected to arrive this September or October via a dedicated event.
