Fortnite x Disney Collaboration to Bring More Marvel Content, Star Wars, The Incredibles, and MORE

Disney is set to make a huge splash in the Battle Island.

The recent D23 Expo has given the world a massive insight into the upcoming Fortnite x Disney collaboration which was teased by both companies last February, hyping up what is coming to the battle royale game. The closest dates to Fortnite and Disney's crossover are coming this month, and the other upcoming characters from The Walt Disney Company will be spread throughout the Fall season.

Epic Games and Disney are gearing up for a massive collaboration it will make available to the battle island, centering on renowned heroes, protagonists, and villains from the entertainment world.

Fortnite x Disney Collaboration Teases Upcoming Content

The announcement on D23 Expo on its collaboration with Epic Games may only have been streamed on Fortnite exclusively and to attendees of the event, but it brings a massive announcement for fans and gamers to look forward to.

This August alone, there would be two crossovers coming, with Star Wars to feature Moff Gideon and IG-11 coming to the battle royale by Monday, August 12.

In Fortnite's recent announcement, it shared the latest Chapter 5 Season 4 content known as "Absolute Doom," and it will feature one of the top villains of the comic franchise, Doctor Doom, who was also most recently announced by Marvel in the SDCC to be MCU's next villain.

Moreover, it would also bring the Fantastic Four, alongside Gwenpool, Emma Frost, Peelverine, Captain Jonesy, Mysterio, Shuri, and War Machine.

More of D23's Announcement for Fortnite Crossover

Another that D23 introduced for Fortnite x Disney is a new introduction to the experience with The Incredibles heroes coming to the battle royale, featuring the Parr family with Mr. Incredible, Elasti Girl, and Frozone.

On the other hand, there is also a showcase of Disney villains like Captain Hook from Peter Pan, Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians, and Maleficent from Rapunzel. Both The Incredibles and Disney villains are coming this Fall season.

Existing Disney Content on Epic Games' Fortnite

Among the many iconic crossovers of Fortnite, one of its most significant is with Disney, particularly with Marvel Comics and its other movies and series, and regarded to be its most popular in the game. The Avengers have already made their debut on Fortnite, as well as the X-Men, but there is also the special Fortnite x Marvel Zero War crossover that was a back-to-back release in the comics.

Moreover, there is also the iconic Star Wars crossover it had for many years already, bringing the galaxy far, far away to the battle island, from the likes of Luke Skywalker to Darth Vader, Finn, and other new generations of cosmic heroes. Recently, Fortnite introduced the iconic supporting cast of the famed franchise including Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, and more.

One of the most recent Disney crossovers on the battle royale is with The Pirates of the Caribbean, featuring its acclaimed hero, Captain Jack Sparrow. After months of its collaboration announcement, Disney and Epic Games nowrevealed what exactly there is to expect on its upcoming crossovers, featuring Marvel, Star Wars, The Incredibles, and iconic Disney villains on the rowdy island.
