Crossovers on Fortnite are already a given, but its next one is unexpected as a teaser behind its next collab would be with Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, the renowned pop culture comic series. This was teased by none other than Scott Pilgrim creator, Bryan Lee O'Malley, stating that he is open to this crossover in the future, and also having the final say behind this possible project.

ComicBook Gaming recently reported that a possible Fortnite x Scott Pilgrim vs. The World crossover may be comingin the future, with the teaser coming directly from the franchise's creator. In a recent Instagram Livestream, O'Malley was asked about Epic Games' battle royale, but he claimed that he "never" played the game.
That being said, this does not mean that the crossover is scrapped, as O'Malley revealed that he spoke with Universal regarding this collaboration and claimed that he is open to it happening in the future.
The Scott Pilgrim creator further noted that this crossover would be up to Fortnite and Fortnite fans to make it happen, and this may suggest that he would not be part of its development.
For those who read the novels, watched the movie, or played the game, Scott Pilgrim is best known for its action-centered story which also focuses on the love story between Scott and Ramona Flowers.
Of course, other characters would also bring justice to the franchise coming to Fortnite including the likes of Knives Chau, Lucas Lee, Gideon Graves, and more.
Fortnite and the Scott Pilgrim Franchise
The regular updates from Fortnite bringing new characters, weapons, and more from pop culture references have been a sight for sore eyes among fans and gamers. The renowned battle royale already had its fair share of famed crossovers, including the likes of Star Wars, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra, Marvel, DC, and more.
On the other hand, O'Malley's renowned Scott Pilgrim vs. The World franchise is known for its standalone releases throughout the years, with one of its most famed adoptions being its 2010 movie. However, the iconic, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Gamehas also seen its fair share of accolades in the gaming industry, recently remastered for modern gaming platforms.
Despite not being part of the renowned comic book companies that shape the world, O'Malley's franchise still stood out in its own right, with its fanbase still active and massive. Fortnite's next crossover maybe with the Scott Pilgrim franchise and its creator is open to it, and now, it falls on Epic Games and its fans to make it happen and bring the colorful and wild pop culture icon to the battle royale.
