It seems like Elon Musk has already had enough of California for the operations of his companies as the renowned tech CEO is looking to move X and SpaceX's headquarters down to Texas soon. There are several reasons revealed by the famed billionaire regarding this move, with one of the reasons being the latest law passed in the Golden State.
Should this move to Texas continue, this would follow Musk's Tesla who has since moved to the Lone Star State almost three years ago.

Why is Elon Musk Leaving California Behind?
According to Musk, the "final straw" behind his decision to move SpaceX's headquarters from Hawthorne, CA toStarbase, Texas (a.k.a. Boca Chica) is the latest law passed by California and its governor, Gavin Newsom. This is the new California bill, AB-1955, which would prevent schools to create or enforce policies that would reveal a student's gender or sexual orientation without their consent.
In another post, Musk also claimed that X will be moving to Austin after facing "gangs of violent drug addicts" in their California headquarters in San Francisco.
Elon Musk and His Fondness of Texas
Several years ago, the massive move by Musk toward Texas was made apparent with his clean energy company, Tesla, and at first, it was only an expansion to the state. However, after confirming the news behind Gigafactory Austin, the executive later confirmed that Texas will now be its new headquarters from Palo Alto, its original location.
It is also known that during this time, SpaceX was already on its way to build the 'City of Starbase,' centering on an area in Boca Chica that would carry out its operations near its previous testing facility.
That being said, Musk is also looking to move Tesla's incorporation from Delaware to Texas, and this was when his shareholders and a judge declined his $56 billion bonus.
Back when Musk first stepped onto Texas with Tesla, the CEO helped the state when it faced horrendous snowstorms by using its clean energy solutions to share power with affected houses and buildings.
After moving SpaceX's incorporation to Texas, its next change would be to bring over its headquarters to the state, alongside X's HQ, with both leaving behind their California origins for new beginnings, almost 1,600 miles away.
