Artificial intelligence continues to be implemented by Microsoft and OneNote, allowing users to write anything with their Surface Pen and leave it to OneNote's OCR to read anything they write.
As reported on XDA, OneNote can now read your handwriting using Copilot. If you ask OneNote to review what you wrote, Copilot provides a full-text transcript of what you believe you typed.
From here, you may copy and paste content without having to retype it manually. And, because Copilot captures the content, you may ask it questions or get a summary.
Microsoft suggests that you experiment with powerful AI functions with your handwritten material. For example, it suggests that you ask Copilot to generate a to-do list based on your notes, allowing the AI to infer what tasks you need to do based on what you wrote.
Microsoft's AI Utilization
Microsoft has used artificial intelligence in practically all of its products. Earlier this year, the IT behemoth introduced Copilot Pro. This subscription-based service boosts performance and encourages innovation while providing customers with privileged use of GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo during peak times.
According to reports, Copilot Pro customers get access to Copilot in a few Microsoft 365 programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and OneNote. They also develop replies, content, and AI imagery efficiently. Copilot Pro introduces advanced features, such as 100 daily boosts for AI image production with DALL-E 3 in landscape format.
Microsoft introduces Copilot for Microsoft 365, emphasizing businesses and extending accessibility. Businesses using Copilot for Microsoft 365 now have more options since the 300-seat purchase requirement for commercial plans has been lifted.
Through integration with Microsoft 365 apps, Copilot for Microsoft 365 may automate processes such as meeting summaries, data analysis, presentation design, mailbox management, and document generation.
Microsoft's Yusuf Mehdi, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Consumer Products, emphasizes how Copilot can be used for individual, small business, and enterprise needs.
Notably, access to Copilot Pro requires a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription. According to sources, Microsoft releases updates that provide Copilot Pro users 100 daily "boosts" in Image Creator from Designer to help them create images more quickly.
Additionally, the subscription promises a future feature that will let customers design unique Copilots based on particular subjects.
Apple's Note-Taking Upgrades
Tech behemoths continue to enhance popular note-taking apps using AI. Apple's Notes App is expected to be updated, as announced last May, to make it easier for students and professionals to record and organize important information.
The software lets users record lectures and seminars, including summaries, transcriptions, connections, photographs, and data tables.
These tools will assist professionals attending conference calls, business meetings, or seminars in digesting vast information. Apple's artificial intelligence technology will simplify facts, business plans, and calendars for convenient review and reference.
