Samsung could soon release a Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim by the end of the year, offering a slimmer variation of the Fold 6 and better features.

According to reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 6's ultra-thin variant will be available in the fourth quarter. According to one estimate, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim might be introduced in October, often when new Pixels emerge. Now that Google has delayed its event to August, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim might be the only Android flagship announced that month.

According to sources, the most recent information on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim came from The Elec, a South Korean website with a track record of accurately reporting on Samsung's plans.

According to the website, Samsung's upcoming folding phone will display the biggest foldable device display. According to the rumor, it will be eight inches diagonally, providing more screen real estate than current phones' 7.6-inch displays.

This implies that the cover screen will be bigger, measuring 6.5 inches diagonally. Samsung plans to make the cover screen of the basic Galaxy Z Fold 6 somewhat broader, following the lead of the Pixel Fold and OnePlus Open. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim is said to be significantly larger.

Samsung has been relaxing as the undisputed leader of the foldable area for some time. The firm remained unchallenged in the U.S. foldable market for a while, but a lack of major changes to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 allowed the OnePlus Open to claim the title of finest foldable, at least in specifications.

Similarly, manufacturers' foldables fall short of the gadgets produced in China today. These reasons contributed to Samsung losing the lead in worldwide folding phone shipments, with Huawei taking the top in Q1 2024.

Other Samsung Leaks

Leaks continue to appear ahead of the tech giant's July Unpacked Event. A fresh series of speculations has emerged online, alleging that the Galaxy Watch 7's new capabilities may detect early indicators of stroke, heart attacks, and diabetes.

The alleged specifications and photos of the Galaxy Watch 7 series had already been circulated before its introduction. According to a recent leak, the Galaxy Watch 7 may be capable of detecting early warning signs of age-related disorders.

Sources uncovered the AGEs (Advanced Glycation Endproducts) index user interface in the Samsung Health app. Because of these capabilities, the Watch 7 series may be able to identify early warning signs of age-related ailments.

The coding includes indications about how the brand might offer cardiovascular risk surveillance. The corporation will employ the AGE index function to provide better health tracking.

AGEs are thought to have an important role in developing chronic age-related diseases. They have been linked to a variety of conditions, including diabetes, heart attacks, and strokes.

Watch 7 users may create an index of data acquired by their wearable using the AGEs index function. The index will be accessible via the Samsung Health app on their smartphones.
