In 2010, the original Crazy Taxi was relaunched on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, per Gamingbolt. Some game features were not changed, which gave it a nostalgia factor.

Despite the low-resolution visuals, the gameplay, modes, and funny narrator remain. However, the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network release's music was the biggest difference that upset fans of Crazy Taxi.

Modern punk tunes from lesser-known bands replaced iconic Offspring and Bad Religion songs. Despite being pop punk rock, these tunes do not match the Crazy Taxi Dreamcast version's original soundtrack, which never got monotonous and loved by fans.
