Amazon's annual shopping extravaganza, Prime Day, will commence on July 16 and 17. It promises Prime members exclusive access to a wide array of deals across various categories.
The event, which kicks off at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET on Tuesday, July 16, and runs until Wednesday, July 17, marks Amazon's 10th Prime Day celebration.
Amazon Prime Day 2024 Returns on July 16 and 17
Prime Day is renowned for offering substantial discounts on a plethora of products. This year's event is anticipated to deliver thousands of Prime-only deals, catering to the diverse shopping needs of Amazon's vast customer base.
For those eager to start shopping early, select Prime Day deals are already available. According to Amazon's announcement, Prime members can expect new deals to drop frequently, sometimes as often as every five minutes during specific event periods.
This strategy encourages members to revisit the platform regularly to capitalize on fresh offers across over 35 categories, including electronics, kitchenware, beauty products, and many more.
The "invite-only deals," exclusive to Prime members, include significant discounts on popular items, such as up to 40% off Sony Wireless Headphones and up to 30% off the Peloton Original Bike and Bike+.
Non-members can join Prime or start a free trial to participate in the event and benefit from fast, free delivery alongside exclusive deals.

Megan Thee Stallion Joins Amazon Prime Day 2024
The buildup to Prime Day will involve Megan Thee Stallion. Amazon has collaborated with the rapper to promote the event through her latest music video and original song, "It's Prime Day."
Prime members can explore Megan Thee Stallion's curated Prime Day picks inspired by her varied interests. These picks feature early deals on items from her new Hot Girl Summer tour merchandise collection.
The song is exclusively available for streaming on Amazon Music starting today and will serve as a bonus track on her upcoming album, MEGAN, which is scheduled for release on June 28.
Leading up to Prime Day, other artists, including Jess Sims, Alyssa McKay, Monet McMichael, Jared McCain, Millie Bobby Brown, Meredith Duxbury, and Alix Earle, will also unveil personally curated deals on their favorite products.
In a statement, Jamil Ghani, Vice President of Amazon Prime, highlighted the significance of Prime Day, describing it as a celebration of the ongoing value Amazon delivers to its members throughout the year.
He also emphasized the event's scope, encompassing millions of deals across diverse categories, including discounts on Amazon devices, entertainment options, groceries, travel deals, and more.
"Over the course of last year, Amazon customers saved nearly $24 billion from deals and coupons-with Prime members enjoying the vast majority of those savings-including over $2.5 billion during Prime Day 2023," Ghani said in the statement.
