Motorola Razr Teases a June 25 Event—Here's What to Expect

A new Motorola Razr smartphone is coming, and the company is now preparing for an actual reveal later this June 25, with a recent teaser showing off the new looks of the folding device. Two variants would be expected in this reveal, with the Razr and Razr Plus centering on the flagship flip smartphone from Motorola with improved displays.

It was also speculated that the new Motorola Razr devices would debut new artificial intelligence features in this massive smartphone adoption. 

Motorola Razr Teases New Device to Unveil this June 25

Motorola released a new teaser regarding its upcoming flip smartphone, Razr, which is now up on X. It showcases the silhouettes and snippets of its latest development on the device. It showed different angles and sides of the device, featuring the flip features of the smartphone alongside the new colors of the device, which would be Blue and Orange. 

Motorola did not share much apart from the message "FLIP THE SCRIPT," which claimed that the event would occur on June 25. 

It features a rounded body and sides, unlike other manufacturers, like the Samsung Galaxy Flip5, which went for flat edges similar to those of the iPhone.

What to Expect from New Motorola Razr Flip Phones

Reports claimed the new Motorola Razr devices would feature the base and the Razr+ variant. According to CNET, they will be available in China on the said date.

It will also offer improvements on the hinge, crease, and more, including the most significant change, AI's arrival on the device.

Motorola and its Smartphone Development

The last Motorola foldable smartphones were last year's Razr and Razr+ releases, a.k.a. the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra, which were some of the highly-anticipated foldable devices from 2023. These new devices offered massive changes compared to their predecessors, centering on a larger display screen when folded and improved capabilities, processing, and features. 

However, apart from its smartphone focus, Motorola also unveiled its take on artificial intelligence amid the massive adoption from tech companies worldwide. In last year's Lenovo Tech World 2023, Motorola unveiled how AI will benefit its smartphone releases, centering on improvements for the camera, display, performance, and more, towards a new experience for all. 

The upcoming event will deliver the latest Motorola has to offer for one of its most iconic smartphones,  known in history for being an icon in the early 2000s. With their modern takes, the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra will deliver on the latest changes for the device but also feature AI technology, with June 25 answering all the questions behind it.
