Honda's N-VAN e: Key Features and Design

The N-VAN e: is designed to be versatile and practical, retaining popular features from its gasoline-powered predecessor, the N-VAN. These include a large cargo space, a flat low floor, a high ceiling, and a wide opening on the passenger side, making it ideal for a variety of uses.

Honda has made specific enhancements to the electric model, such as a power output function and a quiet cabin, ensuring a comfortable and efficient driving experience.

The van is equipped with a large-capacity battery and advanced technology to maximize space and performance. The N-VAN e boasts a range of 152 miles (245 km) on a full charge, making it well-suited for delivery services and other commercial applications.

Honda has equipped the N-VAN e with a comprehensive suite of advanced safety features. All variants come standard with Honda SENSING, which includes collision mitigation, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.

The N-VAN e is also the first commercial light van to feature side curtain airbags and the first mini-vehicle in Japan with a Post-Collision Braking System.

Additionally, the N-VAN e offers connectivity through the Honda CONNECT system, allowing users to remotely control temperature settings, charging schedules, and electricity management via the Honda Total Care smartphone app.

Impressive Charging Capabilities

One of the standout features of the N-VAN e: is its impressive charging capabilities. The van can be charged using normal charging at 6.0 kW, which takes approximately 4.5 hours.

For those in a hurry, the fast-charging option at 50 kW can bring the battery up to a sufficient level in just 30 minutes. Honda's battery management system helps maintain performance and reduce charging times, even in extreme temperatures, ensuring the vehicle is always ready to go when needed.

Honda's N-VAN e: Model Variants

Honda is offering the N-VAN e: in four distinct variants to cater to different customer needs:

e: L4: This standard model features four seats and is designed for a wide range of uses, including commercial and personal applications. It includes a 7-inch LCD meter and offers two-tone color options.

e: FUN: Based on the e: L4, this leisure-focused model features natural beige interiors, LED headlights, and standard fast charging, making it perfect for customers who enjoy hobbies and outdoor activities.

e: G: This variant is specifically designed for commercial use. It has a single seat, an extended interior length, and a lowered floor height to facilitate the loading of long items. It is also 95 mm longer than the gasoline-powered N-VAN.

e: L2: This model offers tandem seating on the driver's side and is optimized for easy access and efficient loading and unloading.

The e: G and e: L2 models will be available exclusively for lease through Honda Fleet Sales and Honda ON, reflecting Honda's strategy to target businesses and fleet operators.
