China's Kuaishou App Brings Kling AI, Going Against Sora

Kuaishou is the second-largest short video app in China after Douyin (a.k.a. TikTok). It is now delivering its take on artificial intelligence with Kling AI. This model is capable of providing AI-generated videos for users. The new Kling model is no joke, as it can deliver as many as two-minute videos solely from user prompts and is capable of outputting high-quality ones.

It is now one of the biggest competitors of OpenAI's Sora AI, its latest model responsible for creating videos from text prompts alone.

Currently, Kling is in its testing phase, but it can already deliver 1080p quality videos for up to two minutes. It offers imaginative and realistic videos, and the experience is available to access through a waitlist.

Dubbed 'Apple Intelligence,' the new technology will be prominently seen on iOS 18, the operating system for iPhones and iPads, which will receive its 'biggest update ever.'

Moreover, users may opt for Apple Intelligence after WWDC, similar to beta programs for new releases after the event. However, eligibility may be limited and only for current-gen iPhones, M1, and later Macs.
