WhatsApp has reportedly offered users a glimpse of its latest features through a beta update for Android, including a new interface and editing feature.
The most recent feature expands upon the revamped drawing editor in the previous release (2.24.10.23). To make the tool more user-friendly, the brush and color tools were moved to a bottom bar for better accessibility, especially on larger displays.
This novel capability will enable users to pick a specific hue right from the image they are altering, as reported by WABetaInfo, a trustworthy source for WhatsApp updates even when they are still in development.
This implies that users will not be limited by the 24 predefined colors that are now available. Instead, they may access the entire color spectrum seen in the image, allowing for exact color coordination and matching.
The color chooser option is very interesting for individuals who use WhatsApp's status feature to communicate visual updates with their pals. This application allows users to produce more sophisticated and aesthetically beautiful status updates that accurately capture their unique style.
The color chooser will enable users to express themselves visually, whether by incorporating coordinated pieces into a themed status or a pop of color into a selfie.
Although it is currently under development and not yet accessible to the general public, the color chooser is anticipated to be included in a later app update.
Whatsapp Community Planning Update
Only a few weeks ago, the messaging app also revealed a new feature that simplifies community event planning: users can book events, birthday celebrations, or PTA meetings directly from within the app.
With the recently announced feature, anyone can plan an event that others can respond to. Additionally, it displays announcement group answers, which means that administrators can use these groups to notify the community of updates.
Reactions will be created for the organization, and users won't receive alerts. This feature can, it has been reported, enhance communication between administrators and members while preserving announcement groups' effectiveness.
Meta also introduced the ability to tie multiple messages to WhatsApp conversations in March. Thanks to a feature of the latest version of WhatsApp, the most important messages are kept visible at the top of the chat, beneath the name and menu tabs. This functionality allows users to set a time limit for how long a pinned message stays in place in group and private conversations.
Whatsapp Safeguards Against Spam
Recently, the messaging app also added automatic limits to reduce the number of accounts that send unsolicited messages. With this new tool, WhatsApp will be able to identify users who are sending spam messages or giving off the impression of being scammers, helping to prevent victimizing other users on the network.
While its system recognizes spammy user behavior and temporarily prevents accounts from starting new conversations, WhatsApp does not read messages.
These restricted individuals are being warned that if they continue with their spamming activities, their accounts will be banned. This warning is based on the automated systems' detection of these users.
