Verizon's MyPlan customers have already been enjoying exclusive discounts on popular subscription services like Apple One, Disney Plus, and Netflix. Now, YouTube Premium joins this lineup.

Both new and existing MyPlan customers are eligible for the YouTube Premium discount. Verizon currently offers three different MyPlan tiers, all of which will include this new benefit starting May 30.

"Everything we do comes down to giving our customers the best experiences at incredible value," Sowmyanarayan Sampath, CEO of Verizon Consumer Group said in a statement.

"Having incredible partners allows us to give our customers what they want at prices they can't get elsewhere, so we're excited to unlock these savings with our new partners, YouTube Premium and Peacock," Sampath added.

Why Get YouTube Premium?

YouTube Premium provides plenty of benefits over the standard free version of YouTube. Users can watch videos without being interrupted by ads, download content to watch offline and gain access to YouTube Music Premium, which offers an extensive library of music without ads.

These features make YouTube Premium an appealing choice for those who want to improve their streaming experience. Also, if you are tired of YouTube instantly skipping videos to the end because of adblockers, now is a good time to subscribe.

More Perks for Verizon Users

In addition to the YouTube Premium discount, Verizon is expanding its content offerings with NBCUniversal's Peacock joining Verizon's +play content hub on June 5.

Through +play, you can also unlock a $15/month credit towards Peacock's $10/month subscription, granting access to a treasure trove of original movies, binge-worthy shows, and electrifying live sports like NFL, Premier League, FIFA World Cup, WWE, and the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.

Verizon's MyPlan already includes several attractive discounts:

  • A Netflix-Max with ads bundle for $10/month, a 40% saving.
  • A Disney bundle (Disney+ with no ads, Hulu with ads, and ESPN+) for $10/month, a 33% saving.
  • Six months of the Disney bundle for free for customers who switch to the Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plan.

Ultimate Phone Upgrade

Verizon has also introduced the Ultimate Phone Upgrade program. This allows customers on the Unlimited Ultimate wireless plan to get the best phone and device promotions when they trade in an older device, further enhancing the value of their subscription.
