Apple's iPhone SE is renowned more for its value than the flashy features of the mainline iPhones. For a significantly lower price tag, users can now access all the essential Apple services they may need, such as FaceTime, iMessage, Apple TV, Apple Arcade, and more.
The next iPhone SE will be produced using carbon-free aluminum from Elysis, according to Apple.
The latest iPhone SE can be purchased for as low as $429 and already features the same A15 Bionic chip found in the iPhone 13, which has a starting price of $599.
It has been two years since Apple launched its third-generation SE, and currently, the internet is abuzz with speculations that the low-cost iPhone will return with its competitive pricing and enhanced features, challenging the lucrative midrange phone market.
iPhone SE 4 Expected to Retain Under $500 Price Tag
The fourth-gen iPhone SE might have a throwback design inspired by another Apple smartphone from 2018.
One of the most popular rumors circulating about the iPhone SE 4 right now is that it will maintain the same price range as its third generation.
Well-known industry tipster Revegnus, in a now-deleted tweet, stated that the fourth-gen SE will be priced at $429, marking a 10 percent increase. This means that the SE 4 could launch at $320+ cheaper than the starting price of an iPhone 15.
If this rumor holds, PhoneArena informs us that the iPhone SE 4 will now enter the mid-range territory currently dominated by Google's Pixel A and Samsung Galaxy A series.
For reference, Google's Pixel 8a starts from $499, and a 5G version of Samsung's Galaxy A35 starts at $400.
The most popular rumors suggest that the iPhone SE 4 will be launched in spring 2025.

iPhone SE 4 Rumors: Design, Features, and More
According to MacRumors, earlier reports suggest that the fourth-generation iPhone SE will likely let go of the Touch ID Home Button and replace it with Face ID.
Replacing the Touch ID home button with the notch for Face ID, the SE 4 is also expected to be modeled after the iPhone 14. As for the display, the iPhone SE 4 is rumored to include a 6.1-inch display using OLED technology - a first for the SE line.
For the camera, rumors suggest that the iPhone SE 4 will feature a single-lens 48-megapixel camera, a significant jump from the 12-megapixel camera of the third-gen SE iPhone.
The iPhone SE 4's A15 chip is also expected to receive an upgrade and a better 5G chip with support for more bands.
