Howard said that the downloadable content will be available around Fall 2024 on the Xbox Series S and X and the PC platforms.
Howard only revealed a specific time window for the DLC's release, but this already means a lot for fans and gamers as this is the first confirmation of Shattered Space's availability.

What to Expect from Starfield's Shattered Space DLC?
It is unknown what Bethesda has in store for Starfield and the Shattered Space DLC, particularly as it is meant to bring in a new story for gamers to enjoy in the game.
That being said, Howard revealed that for now, gamers would have to anticipate the upcoming update patch for the game, with an announcement coming this week and a beta testing phase later to Steam.
Starfield and What it Offers
Bethesda and Microsoft touted Stafield as the biggest space game in history ever to drop, boasting of the massive open-world experiences it added here, one that went alongside its extensive space story that introduced the world to a new experience.
However, it was plagued with bugs during its launch, affecting the performance and experiences of what could have been a glorious start.
As mentioned earlier, gamers can either enjoy its main storyline first or mix it with the open-world exploration of space with the extensive detail that Bethesda puts in it.
In its story mode alone, Starfield offers 19 main missions to finish the narrative, totaling 30 hours of playtime or less, depending on a player's track.
While Starfield's open world alone makes it a game that will not die after finishing the story, a promised DLC during its release would help expand the experience for all.
