After a list of new features and experiences, Ray-Ban and Meta are not yet done with the latest they have to offer for their Smart Glasses wearables. They are now revealing new styles to choose from, alongside a slur of new technology.
First, two styles were available before, the Wayfarer and its 'Headliner,' but the latest both companies have to offer is the "Skyler."
On the other hand, Meta's latest update to its experiences now offers multimodal AI, best known as the Meta AI with Vision.
Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses: New Styles to Enjoy
The latest blog post by Meta announced the upcoming new styles for the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses. This centers on the Skyler frame, which was designed for smaller face shapes.
It also brings new lenses to choose from, including Shiny Chalky Gray with Gradient Cinnamon Pink Lenses and Shiny Black with Transitions Cerulean Blue Lenses.
Its Headliner frames also bring a low bridge option to suit one's face better, no longer having the glasses slip off.
Meta claims that users may mix and match these lenses and frames with over a hundred combinations over at Meta or Ray-Ban's website, with the Skyler now available for pre-order starting at $299.00.
Meta AI with Vision for Smart Glasses
New features were also added. Meta's AI, known as a multimodal model, is now accessible on the wearable, offering a way to understand more of the elements around them via the app or through the AI assistant's response.
Meta AI with Vision also goes alongside the chance to share their view with the glasses to video calls via Messenger and WhatsApp.
Ray-Ban and Meta's Wearable Tech
Ray-Ban Stories has come a long way since its release in 2021. Initially, it was known as an accessory for smartphones that captured images and videos from a first-person point of view (POV).
While that is also available for the latest release of the now-renamed Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses from last Fall, it offered massive new features alongside audio capabilities and iconic styles.
It was only yesterday when Meta and its CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, announced the new feature to enjoy for the Ray-Ban Meta wearable, particularly with its Apple Music integration.
It also comes with a voice-control feature that would allow users hands-free experiences to play a specific song, choose an artist, stream a playlist, and more while offering a noteworthy listening experience with its open-ear speakers.
Meta also introduced its latest Horizon OS, an Android-based operating system that focuses on specific use cases instead of the Quest Platform's previous general-use software.
Meta did not stop there, and despite earlier announcing this Apple Music integration, the company is here to reveal the new styles available to pre-order and AI with vision integration to the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.
