Targeted by Hackers (Again)
All Turkish YouTuber Ruhi Çenet's channel videos have been deleted, rendering it completely empty. Çenet took to Instagram to inform his followers about the incident, cautioning them against believing any fake broadcasts from the compromised channel.
The channel underwent a name change during the recent hack, and all its content was wiped out. This isn't the first time the channel has been targeted; it faced a previous hack, but the content was restored. The channel's name and banner seem to be back to normal. However, the hacker's identity remains unknown.
Known for its educational content in Turkey, Çenet's channel faced hackers attempting to transform it into a cryptocurrency-focused platform. Çenet reported a loss of approximately 300,000 subscribers due to the incident.
Moreover, the hackers tried to initiate a livestream titled "Response to SEC's $2 Billion Fine! XRP Price Prediction" to attract viewers, especially those interested in cryptocurrency investment. Sadly, this is a frequent ordeal experienced by many others in the online community.
During the initial theft of Çenet's YouTube account, the channel's name was altered to "Ripple." Alongside the name change, all videos were wiped out. Çenet faced backlash after his remarks following the incident reportedly stirred negative reactions from many users.
Just a few days back, Çenet shared that he had regained control of his account, but unfortunately, it seems to have been short-lived, as his channel has been hacked once more. The reason behind this recurring issue remains unclear.

Çenet's roots trace back to his childhood spent in Manisa and Bandırma, Turkey. After completing his university studies in India in 2007, he returned to Turkey in 2011.
Upon his homecoming, he created video content for YouTube, launching his channel, "Ruhi Çenet Videoları" (Ruhi Çenet Videos), on September 19, 2012.
As one of Turkey's most prominent YouTubers, Çenet is renowned for his educational and documentary content, establishing himself as an independent producer.
In August 2019, he tied the knot with Cansu Gizem Çenet, and the couple now has two children. As of January 2022, Çenet delivers content in six languages: English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Similar Experience
In 2018, another prominent cryptocurrency YouTuber faced a major setback when his channel was hacked during a live stream with his audience.
After realizing the hacking incident, Ian Balina abruptly ended the live stream during an ICO review.
Realizing the breach, he swiftly ended the stream, expressing urgency to sign back into his Google spreadsheet. The hack lost $2 million worth of cryptocurrency from Balina's Etherscan wallets.
He took to Twitter to voice his frustration and sought assistance from his followers, dubbing them his "Crypto Family," to identify the perpetrators.
