Identification of New iPad Models
The newly spotted iPad models are believed to be included in the iPad lineup that will be launched next month. While details remain scarce, it is unclear whether these model numbers correspond to upcoming iterations of the iPad Air or the iPad Pro series.
Reports suggest that Apple may unveil a total of four new iPad models, including successors to the iPad Pro (11-inch) and iPad Pro (12.9-inch).
Anticipated Features and Specifications
In addition to the expected iPad Pro updates, Apple is rumored to introduce two new variants of the iPad Air, measuring 10.9 inches and 12.9 inches, respectively.
Notably, the larger 12.9-inch iPad Air would mark a novel addition to Apple's tablet lineup. Both the iPad Pro and iPad Air models slated for release in 2024 are anticipated to boast Apple's proprietary M3 chipset, promising enhanced performance and efficiency.
Innovations in Display Technology
Aside from that, a separate rumor that MacRumors included in its report suggests that the Cupertino tech giant may incorporate OLED display panels in the upcoming iPad Pro lineup, building upon the success of the microLED displays featured in the 2022 iPad Pro (12.9-inch) model.
Furthermore, speculation indicates that the new iPad Pro models will feature a sleeker design, characterized by a thinner profile and a revamped camera module.
Outside the talks about iPad models, a new iPhone 16 rumor tells us that slimmer bezels will grace the new handset model. The successor of the iPhone 15 will not only prioritize the aesthetics of the device but also achieve optimal display performance with this change.
Elsewhere, another rumor points out the potential debut of the Apple Pencil for Vision Pro headset. This accessory might be in the works now, as per the previous report.
From here, we expect that Apple wants users to use the Apple Pencil for some apps. For instance, they can utilize it with Freeform and other drawing apps.
Alongside the rumored Apple Pencil, it is anticipated that software updates will also come for the visionOS updates.
In other news, Google is planning to make the Search engine premium. The subscription-based will make use of AI-powered features. However, users are still free to use the traditional version.
