Star Wars The Mandalorian Game is Under Development, From Who?
Insider Gaming's Tom Henderson dropped massive bombs behind a possible Star Wars The Mandalorian game coming soon, claiming that there is already a development and team for it. The information reportedly came from an insider on this project, centering on Electronic Arts' Respawn Entertainment to be headlining this development to soon deliver it.
Respawn Entertainment is one of the top names in the gaming world, but they are best credited for delivering the massively famous Star Wars Jedi series, with Fallen Order and Survivor. Moreover, the team is also best known for their other titles like Apex Legends and Titanfall.
There were also no mentions of what gaming platforms it would be available in, especially as there was an earlier rumor about going to the Xbox exclusively.
What to Expect from The Mandalorian Game Coming Soon?
ComicBook Gaming said that The Mandalorian game is "at least" two years away, still in its early development stages, and may be coming later than 2026. It will center on "mobility," "style," and a "very fast-paced" environment, revolving around The Mandalorian's plot as a bounty hunter in various worlds.
The reports also claim that it will be similar to Apex Legends and there would be a wide range of weapons to be available, including Mando's jetpack.
The Mandalorian and What It Introduced to Star Wars
Before the introduction of The Mandalorian, the other information behind their race centered on two central characters only, including Boba Fett, the famed bounty hunter from the original Star Wars series, and Jango Fett from the 2000s era trilogy. Back in 2019, The Mandalorian's fame was unmatched, beating Netflix's Stranger Things as the top streamed show at the time.
The series also hinted at a renowned species that is similar to that of Jedi Master Yoda, centering on "The Child," a.k.a. Baby Yoda but is officially known as Grogu.
The Mandalorian's fame has led to massive speculations behind a game adaptation development to bring the series to the Xbox Series S and X.
It remains unknown if this is the same title that is being made now, or is a different one that also has a new team working to deliver this Mandalorian game to the world. Star Wars' The Mandalorian may soon be getting its well-deserved game, one that would be expected at at least two years from now, with EA's Respawn Entertainment working on creating this for all fans.
