Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of now deceased pop singer Whitney Houston with Bobby Brown, was found in her tub face down in water and unresponsive.
The 21-year-old found herself in a similar situation to her mother's, when the singer died in 2012, but Bobbi Kristina was lucky that family came by before things took a turn for the worse.
According to a report from PEOPLE, Bobbi has now been hospitalized, with her family by her side. However, things are not going very well since doctors were forced to put the young woman in a medically induced coma.
The good news is that she is in stable condition so we expect her to pull through. In the end, however, she could suffer from the aftermath of her current medical situation.
According to the Roswell Police Department, Bobbi Kristina's husband Nick Gordon, along with a friend, found her in the tub unresponsive. Nick quickly began to perform CPR and was relieved by an officer soon after.
"Police are on the scene of a rescue call at the home of Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Whitney Houston," the department said on Facebook. "Her husband and a friend located her in a bath tub this morning and she was unresponsive. He started CPR and a police officer took over life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived. She was transported to the hospital. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers."
Bobbi Kristina's father Bobby Brown released a statement via his lawyer, asking folks to give the family privacy as they come together to overcome this new challenge in their lives.
It is said that due to the death of her mother a few years ago, Bobbi Kristina has not gotten over her passing and is still struggling to cope on a daily basis. We can only hope that after this experience, her family will give her the help and support she needs to move forward.
