After debuting to theaters only, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) is now heading to on-demand streaming and it will be exclusive to Disney+. The renowned streaming platform exclusively secured the rights to offer the movie documentary of the iconic concert tour of the award-winning singer-songwriter, featuring her iconic re-recorded songs and new tracks.
This version offers extended content which were removed from the original theatrical release, making Disney+ all the more worth subscribing for the experience.
Disney+ Exclusively Secures Taylor Swift Eras Tour Movie
The ongoing Eras Tour concert of the famed multiple Grammy award-winning artist is now on its Asia and Oceania leg, and for those who no longer have tickets, there is a way to catch up on this experience via Disney+. In a recent press release, The Walt Disney Company announced that it was able to exclusively secure the streaming rights to Taylor Swift| The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) movie documentary coming this March 15.
It will soon be available to all Disney+ subscribers at no additional costs, coming for anyone, whether they are fans who were able to attend the concert and want to re-experience it or those who were not able to watch it live. This Disney+ availability will offer the song "cardigan," alongside four additional acoustic tracks.
The movie was directed by Sam Wrench, and it was initially available to watch in theaters worldwide, best known for grossing more than $260 million, the top-selling concert film of all time.
Where to Watch Taylor Swift Eras Tour Movie Now?
However, for those who cannot wait for next month's Disney+ release, the concert film is now available to rent on streaming platforms like Amazon and Apple TV. However, this version will not have the renowned song from Folklore (2020), and the additional songs coming to Disney+.
Taylor Swift and Her Streaming Presence
There is glitter all over the floor after the concert, but for those who were not able to attend, for many reasons, one is the Ticketmaster fiasco which led to the cancellation of general ticket sales, it is coming soon to Disney+. This notorious issue during the ticket selling of the biggest concert in Swift's career led to massive protests against the company and the platform where it was held.
On various platforms Taylor Swift has been in, she is known to shimmer, and that particular afterglow of the concert is something that Elon Musk wants to get more people to flock to X. Last year, Musk directly replied to Swift via X, asking the red-lipped classy musician to post her concert videos directly to the rebranded social media, offering the long-form video and high-quality uploads feature.
Swift is known for having her previous concert and documentary, Miss Americana, available on Netflix's streaming platform, with the upcoming Taylor Swift Reputation Stadium Tour coming soon. However, users would have to head over to Disney+ for the exclusive and extended experience of the Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) movie coming this March 15 or opt to rent it via other platforms.
