Suicide Squad's Early Access Issues

The early access release of Suicide Squad hit a roadblock shortly after launching in New Zealand and Australia. Within an hour, a bug emerged, automatically completing the game for players upon their first login.

This unexpected hiccup forced Rocksteady to take the game offline for over six hours on Monday, followed by an additional hour of maintenance on Tuesday.

Recognizing the inconvenience caused to early access players, Rocksteady issued a heartfelt apology and a tangible gesture of appreciation.

VGC reports that Deluxe Edition players received an in-game message expressing gratitude for their patience during the initial server updates. To sweeten the deal, Rocksteady gifted these players 2000 LuthorCoins, the in-game currency, equivalent to a $20/£16 value.

Rocksteady Thanks Early Players

The message from Rocksteady read: "Thank you for being one of our first console players during early access of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. We recognize that you've been patient with us during our initial launch server updates, and we'd like to show our appreciation for your patience with a special gift of 2000 LuthorCoins. Thank you again!"

These LuthorCoins hold significant value within the Suicide Squad universe, allowing players to purchase various in-game items, including character skins.

Standard skins are priced at 1000 coins, while higher-variant skins may cost 2000 coins. This compensation acknowledges the inconvenience and provides players with the means to enhance their in-game experience.

Despite the launch hurdles, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League maintains a buzz of excitement as it gears up for its official release on February 2, 2024. The game, set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, has faced several delays, contributing to heightened anticipation among fans.

As the release date approaches, fans eagerly await the full Suicide Squad experience, hopeful that the initial hiccups are but a minor setback in the grand adventure that awaits them on February 2.
