Paolo Banchero, Jalen Brunson, Anthony Edwards, Tyrese Haliburton, Chet Holmgren, Jaren Jackson Jr., Tyrese Maxey and Victor Wembanyama to Star in Season Two of “Pass the Rock”

Season two of Pass the Rock to premiere on Jan. 9 with episode featuring the Memphis Grizzlies’ Jaren Jackson Jr.

The NBA announced the star-studded lineup of players that will be featured in season two of the NBA Entertainment original "Pass the Rock" on the NBA App, including Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Chet Holmgren, Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr., Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey and San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama.

"Pass the Rock" will take fans behind-the-scenes into the lives of some of the game's rising stars and offer exclusive commentary from each player as they navigate the season, capturing everything from their on-court goals and how they prepare for games to their personal passions.

The first episode of the season starring Jackson Jr. will premiere on Tuesday, Jan. 9, leading up to the Grizzlies' MLK Day matchup against the Golden State Warriors on Monday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. ET on TNT. Jackson Jr. discusses his goal of one day winning the NBA Finals, approach on the defensive end and passion for making music as he takes viewers inside his studio. The 2022-23 Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year also offers insight into his relationship with his father Jaren Jackson Sr. - an NBA champion with the San Antonio Spurs in 1999 - and how he's inspired him.

"It's just the new generation. Bron was at one point that. Steph was that," said Jackson Jr. "They've laid the groundwork for us to study them and kind of keep going."

The second episode highlighting Edwards will be available on Wednesday, Jan. 17, before the Timberwolves host the Grizzlies on Thursday, Jan. 18 at 10 p.m. ET on TNT. Details regarding future episodes will be available periodically throughout the remainder of the season.

Season one of "Pass the Rock" featured Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young, Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum and guard Jaylen Brown, Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray, Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Dončić, New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson and Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, among others.

As previously announced, the free-to-download NBA App features a range of new enhancements and content for the 2023-24 season, including "Bring it Home" chronicling the Denver Nuggets' 2022-23 championship season and the "Iceman" documentary spotlighting San Antonio Spurs legend George Gervin.
