The next generation of the Apple Watch releases that are speculated for 2024 was said to be no longer compatible with existing or previous-gen ones, and this centers on the upcoming Apple Watch Series 10 or X, with the Ultra 3. A leaker known as Kosutami has posted on X (formerly Twitter), revealing the upcoming change for next-generation Apple Watches, particularly as its bands will no longer be compatible with all previous-generation and current releases. This applies to the future speculated releases of the Apple Watch Series 10 or X, as what it is expected to be called, alongside the Watch Ultra 3.

While Kosutami did not exactly name these affected watches or newly-designed wearables to be the Series 10/X and the Ultra 3, these devices are the next-in-line claims the speculations.

It is important to note that Kosutami previously talked about the FineWoven bands before Apple introduced them and was accurate when these bands were released.

Next-Gen Apple Watch is Looking for a Change Soon

The massive release of Apple Watch's first decade in the tech industry is set to revamp the entire lineup, centering on a new design that involves the connection of the main device to its bands. It was first reported by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman that the Apple Watch Series X or Apple Watch X would no longer feature compatibility as Cupertino plans to redesign the device's connection to make more space for other tech in its body.

The Apple Watch in the Tech Industry Now

While there are already reports about the next-gen Apple Watch, all eyes are on the recent issue that Cupertino has faced against the US government and the International Trade Commission, alongside the years-long complaint from Masimo.

After the massive deliberation of this case, Masimo won, and this caused the government to place a massive ban on the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 after it was ruled to be removed from the market after a patent infringement, with its delay denied by the ITC.

Still, the ball rolls for Apple, as it is seeing a year continuation of the Apple Watch Series, already seeing speculations for what it has to bring earlier this 2023. There were already talks about the Apple Watch Series 10 or X, and this is the commemoration of the first decade of wearables in the market.

It will be the biggest revamp to the Apple Watch lineup since it was first released, and it is said to be similar to what Apple did with its smartphone's tenth edition, famously known as the iPhone X, which removed the home button. Now that rumors are about it, the latest claim centers on the next-gen Apple Watches no longer featuring compatibility for its old bans to the next wearables, looking at an entirely new design.
