Transparent Antenna of LG
In related news, LG Electronics will also introduce its transparent antenna designed for automobiles at the upcoming CES 2024 in Las Vegas. Developed in collaboration with renowned French glass manufacturer Saint-Gobain Sekurit, LG's transparent film-type antenna is set to revolutionize telecommunications technology in the automotive sector.
The transparent antenna, directly applied to vehicle glass, is compatible with a range of glass types and various vehicle designs. LG provides the antenna in both on-glass and in-glass solutions, offering flexibility and scalability to address the rising demands of network traffic.
With widespread surface application, the film-type antenna guarantees reliable telecommunications performance. LG highlighted that the transparent antenna can seamlessly integrate into car windshields or glass sunroofs.
This eliminates the necessity for design concessions by vehicle manufacturers when developing new models, as it eliminates the housing typically required for conventional antennas.
