Beeper Mini is Working for iMessage Again, But Here's What You Have to Do

Beeper Mini is back to bring iMessage for Android.

The renowned Beeper Mini app for Android is back and working again, following the controversial 'patch' that Apple fixed that prevented the system from sending iMessage to and back for iPhones. Initially, Apple confirmed that it fixed the issue that allowed Beeper Mini to communicate with iPhones via the renowned blue bubbles, but the company claims that this service is now accessible to all.

In the latest blog post by Beeper, the Mini app is now back and running again, with the company claiming that it already fixed the issues that initially presented itself as glitches in its service.

After the patch by Apple, there were users that complained about problems in sending or receiving messages through Cupertino's iMessage, something which the company fixed over the weekend.

Initially, the fix that the company offered was through its website, and users would have to download an APK file of Beeper Mini, and then install it on their Android devices.

However, in its most recent update, the company said that users no longer have to go through the APK version as it is already live on Google Play.

If It Not Works, Here's What You Have to Do

If you are still encountering issues with the Beeper Mini app, there is a workaround available for you to use, and it is through uninstalling and reinstalling the app via Google Play.

But if this still leads you nowhere, you may uninstall the existing app and download the APK file for you to manually install Beeper Mini directly from its website.

The Sought After iMessage for Android

Earlier this month, Beeper released the Mini app which brought iMessage for Android, and this is a universal experience that does not have any other requirements apart from installing it from one's device and buying the subscription. At $2 per month, users will have the chance to directly connect their devices to the iMessage communication system, which offers a step further emulation.

However, around two days after its launch and after seeing it work its wonders, Apple enforced a fix for the exploited entry point for Beeper Mini, and this led to significant technical glitches for the app.

This block led to many reacting against Apple, with debates sparking up online regarding privacy and security as the company claimed it was because of an exploit.

While Beeper Mini is the latest service to bring this experience for all, the company started earlier in 2021, and it promises to unite messaging platforms, including that of Apple, under one ecosystem. With Apple's plan to integrate RCS already on its way, Beeper Mini remains headstrong with the feature it aims to offer Android users, offering a working app now to bring iMessage to Android.
