One of the top Japanese automakers in the world, Honda, is now revealing that it is coming to CES 2024 to showcase some of the next-gen electric vehicle series coming to the world. This is part of the company's 2030 goals of debuting as many as 30 electric vehicle models for all, as well as its carbon neutrality goals for all of its products and activities moving forward.
Honda is Coming to CES 2024 to Debut New EVs
In the latest press release by Honda, the automaker confirmed its attendance and showcase for the upcoming CES 2024, and it aims to debut a new global EV series. The company said that its booth will showcase the future EVs that it is developing, giving the world a snippet of what is to come from the company in this age of electrification.
Honda also claimed that alongside its booth, its dedicated CES 2024 website will also provide updates and information about what it shows via the renowned tech event.
Moreover, it will have a press conference over at CES 2024 taking place on its first day, Tuesday, January 9, 2024, 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time, with Global CEO (Director, President, and Representative Executive Officer) Toshihiro Mibe and Global EVP (Director, Executive Vice President, and Representative Executive Officer) Shinji Aoyama.

Honda's 2030 Electrification Goals
The Japanese car company did not reveal much about what EV series is coming this January, but this would be under its electrification goal which it aims to complete by 2030, debuting a total of 30 electric cars to the world. Honda's first release will also arrive next year, with the 2024 Prologue offering a crossover SUV powered by its batteries and electric motors.
Honda's Electric Vehicles
At present, there is not much electrification happening over at Honda, but the company has pledged its commitment to clean energy since 2021, with it already teasing different projects. One of the earliest announcements towards Honda's EVs is with its partnership with General Motors, and the American company fulfilling the manufacturing process via its Mexico and Tennessee plants.
Its first EV that it officially introduced to the world is a crossover SUV, the 2024 Honda Prologue that will make its wide debut, including the United States region.
Moreover, a deal with Sony was also made for the Japanese tech company's foray into clean energy car development, with Honda co-producing EVs with them.
There are already hybrid vehicles available to purchase via Honda, and this includes the Accord sedan and the CR-V Hybrid, alongside its ventures over at Acura. However, for the main Honda brand, there is only the Prologue coming next year, but that will soon see more models from the company to reveal at its CES 2024 showcase, with around six years to debut 30 EVs by the end of the decade.
