Peloton fans can now add some entertainment to their exercise regimens with the launch of "Peloton Entertainment." The massive fitness company revealed on Instagram that it is expanding its streaming features, allowing customers to watch videos directly on their Peloton Bike, Tread, and Row from popular services like Netflix, NBA League Pass, Disney+, and YouTube TV.
"Introducing Peloton Entertainment-stream TV shows, movies, and sports right from your Peloton Bike, Tread, and Row," said the official statement on Instagram. Users can locate it by clicking on the 'Entertainment' tab located at the bottom of the touchscreen.
Peloton Entertainment, formerly in beta, is now accessible to all customers. According to Stark Insider, NBA League Pass is the sole service that is not listed as beta but users may continue to use other services that are still in beta, although there can be sporadic bugs as the platform works to improve the new function.
How to Access Peloton Entertainment
Previously, Peloton customers had to employ side-loading and workarounds to access these streaming services. With Peloton Entertainment, you can watch your favorite sports, TV programs, and movies while working out without having to resort to these unofficial and cumbersome workarounds.
Pelo Buddy reports that the procedure to access Peloton Entertainment is simple for those who want to watch an NBA game on a Peloton bike, treadmill, or row. Here's how:
- On the Peloton interface, choose the "Entertainment" option located at the bottom.
- Choose "NBA League Pass" as your selection. If this is your first time logging in, use your phone and the QR code to access your account, or manually input your login information. Locate your preferred game and press play.
- To start tracking your numbers as a Peloton Workout, click "Start Workout" at the top of the page.
With the help of this new function, customers can now combine their exercise regimens with their preferred entertainment, giving Peloton training even more versatility.
Peloton Partners with NBA, WNBA
In October, Peloton entered into a historic partnership with the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and the National Basketball Association (NBA). With this multi-year agreement, Peloton is now officially recognized as the official fitness partner of both pro basketball leagues. Through the partnership, a first for Peoloto, NBA League Pass will be streamable on Peloton devices via the fitness platform's new Entertainment Center during the 2023-24 NBA season.
Peloton will produce NBA and WNBA-themed courses throughout its exercise modalities as part of this partnership, giving Peloton members and fans exclusive access, deals, and experiences.
Leslie Berland, Chief Marketing Officer of Peloton, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, "Peloton members are NBA and WNBA fans, and this collaboration is going to bring amazing content and experiences to them and all fans of both leagues," according to the NBA media release.
The Peloton official added that the shared aim of inspiring and connecting people through exercise, athletics, and community makes Peloton and professional basketball an appealing match.
