Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang shared some of his views about building a business and the challenges that every entrepreneur could face on their journey.
The 60-year-old business tycoon behind the popular RTX graphics cards shed some light on the realities of creating a company from scratch.
Building Nvidia Was Too Hard
Huang, a visionary leader, stressed that the journey of building Nvidia was a million times harder than he initially expected. He candidly stated that if he were 30 years old today, he wouldn't embark on this path. The immense personal toll and the challenges faced along the way were staggering.

The 'Superpower' of Entrepreneurs
Although Nvidia was plagued with problems from the get-go, the Taiwan-born businessman did not show any signs of weaknesses. According to MarketWatch, it's the self-belief that keeps him going amid uncertainties during the early days of Nvidia.
For Huang, self-belief is a superpower that he has seen from other entrepreneurs in the industry.
The Fear of Letting Others Down
One of Huang's enduring fears is letting his employees down. Since Nvidia's early days, he has been dedicated to ensuring the success and well-being of his team. He recognizes that his employees have embraced the company's vision as their own and are counting on it to build a better life.
Overcoming Doubts and Challenges
Huang attributes his resilience to the support network he had throughout his three-decade journey. People who never gave up on him played a crucial role. Leading Nvidia during turbulent times when the stock price plummeted was exceptionally challenging. Yet, he persevered.
Looking forward, Huang sees enormous potential in artificial intelligence (AI). He believes AI will create new job opportunities while cautioning that automation may lead to the displacement of certain roles. His advice is clear, learn how to use AI, as job landscapes are set to change.
"Now, obviously, the next generation of jobs doesn't guarantee that any one human doesn't get fired. That's obviously true. It's more likely that someone will lose a job to someone else, some other human that uses an AI," he added.
Nvidia's Unique Organizational Structure
Huang emphasized that Nvidia's organizational structure is akin to a "computing stack" rather than a top-down command system. The company operates as a "neural network," reflecting the philosophy that the organization should be the architecture for building the product.
For the Nvidia boss, it's always the determination and curiosity that push him to his limits in handling the company, Game is Hard reports.
As long as someone is passionate and dedicated to a certain specialty, he/she will succeed regardless of how many adversaries will hinder their path to success. Huang believes that this driving force is a must-have for everyone who wishes to build their own firm someday.
