The renowned PS5 game, Horizon Forbidden West, initially exclusive to the PlayStation consoles, will soon be heading to PCs, with Sony confirming its future release of the version. This comes after the company's last release of the Burning Shores DLC which arrived earlier this April, continuing the story of the fan-favorite heroine, Aloy, in her adventures in the dystopian world.
One of the most exciting things about this release from Sony and Guerilla Games is that this game will bring the Complete Edition for the PC.
Horizon Forbidden West Coming to PCs Soon
According to the latest announcement by the PlayStation Blog, Horizon Forbidden West is heading to the PC, coming soon in early 2024, with the company not stating its exact dates. Sony claimed that it delegated Nixxes Software to work on the PC version of the sequel title from 2022, coming to two platforms including the Steam and Epic Games Store.
PlayStation regarded that fans may now wishlist the title via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and this in turn would provide them an update once it becomes available for purchase and download.
Nixxes is a company purchased by Sony in 2021, and it provided the PC ports of both Spider-Man games, receiving massive praise for their works.
Complete Edition: What Does it Bring?
The Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is first coming to the PS5 this October 6, setting users as much as $70, around the same price point to expect for PC. This Complete Edition brings the base game that was released in 2022 but also bundles the Burning Shores DLC that came out earlier this year, alongside exclusive in-game items, digital collectibles, and more.

Horizon's Franchise
The last main franchise release from the series was in 2022 when Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerilla Games unveiled the Horizon Forbidden West to the world. Early in the year, the world saw the continuation of Aloy's story, a game that was made available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, offering a cross-gen experience for all.
Since the original game, Horizon Zero Dawn, was released in 2017, it was not made available to the modern gaming console, the PS5, via its rightful port. Backward compatibility helped its access, but it was previously rumored that a remake is coming soon for the latest-gen console of Sony, something that did not gain the traction it expected as fans want Bloodborne instead.
Forbidden West is one iconic release of the franchise, being among the top games available for the PS5, and gained the rightful hype and attention in its release. However, this still left fans craving for the PC version which was expected among exclusive PlayStation games, now confirming its PC version, a Complete Edition, coming next year.
