In a thrilling revelation at the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom has announced that "Resident Evil Village" will soon haunt your iPhone 15 Pro and iPad. With the spine-tingling release of the popular PS5 game, fans won't have to carry a console anywhere since the mobile port is finally here.

'Resident Evil Village' iPhone and iPad Port

Capcom is set to unleash terror on iOS and iPadOS devices with the imminent launch of Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake.

According to TouchArcade, the "RE Village" and "RE 4 Remake" will be available at $59.99 and $39.99, respectively. Capcom says that just like other mobile games on iOS and iPadOS, there will be in-app purchases for the said titles.

'Resident Evil 4 Remake' Pre-Order

The countdown has begun, and pre-orders are now available for "Resident Evil 4 Remake" on the App Store. Though the release date is slated for "Coming Soon - Expected December 31, 2023," anticipation is building, and fans are eager to embark on their terrifying journey.

These games will offer a range of control options, including on-screen controls, game controllers, multi-touch, and HDR support, delivering a seamless and immersive gaming experience.

iPhone 15 Pro is a Perfect Host for Horror

"Resident Evil 4 Remake" and Resident Evil Village first made their spine-tingling debut during Apple's iPhone 15 Pro announcement.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, powered by the A17 Pro chip, boast a cutting-edge GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing. This technological breakthrough ensures that these console classics can be played on your iPhone with a performance that's eerily close to the original experience, according to MacRumors.

Upgrade in Visuals and Cross-Progression

iPhone 15 models come equipped with DisplayPort support through their USB-C ports, enabling native video output at up to 4K/60Hz to a DisplayPort-equipped external display or TV. This means you'll witness every gory detail and chilling moment in stunning high definition, raising the stakes for mobile gaming.

Interestingly, Capcom says that "Resident Evil Village" is already lurking on macOS, and its impending arrival on iOS and iPadOS will be a standalone purchase, allowing players to experience the horror just in time for Halloween.

Cross-progression will be available for "Resident Evil 4 Remake" on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, while Resident Evil Village will support cross-progression on iPadOS and iOS exclusively.

Other AAA-Games Arriving on iPhone 15 Pro

With the arrival of "Resident Evil Village" on the most powerful iPhone 15 model, it is expected that other AAA-rated titles will come to the newest Apple smartphone.

According to a report by Tech Times, aside from "RE Village" and "RE 4 Remake," Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed Mirage" and Kojima Production's "Death Stranding" will be available as mobile ports.

While the iPhone 15 Pro is powerful enough to handle high-graphics games, some gamers believe that it's still not ideal for gaming since it can overheat faster.
