Google Bard: Gmail, YouTube, Docs, and MORE Gets the AI Chatbot

The AI Chatbot from Google is now on many Workspace apps.

In Google's quest to bring its AI chatbot to the forefront, the company has made Bard available on more of its apps, including Gmail, YouTube, Docs, and more. The internet company said that in most of its experiences and the Workspace suite, users may be able to call upon Bard to help them in their searches or generate content.

Leveraging Bard to the many Google apps is now looking to help improve more of the experience, looking to rival that of Microsoft and OpenAI for its ChatGPT.

Google Bard Integration
Google

According to an announcement by Google, Bard is now available to access various apps from the Mountain View tech giant, including Gmail, YouTube, Docs, and more. Using the chatbot alone could help point users to various Google apps. For example, searching for the best flights and hotels in a certain location would help relay them to Google Flights and Google Hotels.

Alongside this integration to its apps, Google is also making Bard Extensions available, a feature that would include the AI chatbot in different company products for personal-to-work needs.

Through Google's Bard, different apps like YouTube, Gmail, and Workspace apps can now get the AI assistant to provide them with a leveled-up experience.

AI Chatbot to Help in Google Workspace Suite, Apps

In Bard Extensions alone, users may converse with the AI to help them access various information, files, e-mails, and more directly from its prompt box.

This means there is no longer a need to switch between Google apps to access what they are looking for, as the chatbot would help direct them to it. Google also claimed that it is focusing on security, with no human reviewers having access to what Bard can gather from one's Google account.

Google Bard: Generative AI for All

Google is all hands on deck for its generative AI services, including more developments of what it offers, first offered earlier this year to bring a helping hand to its search engine. It was developed by the company numerous times after its initial flaws, and it delivered various features and functions, including math and programming improvements.

As more people were able to access Bard and got accustomed to it, there have been several ways to use the AI to benefit their needs, including many hacks and optimization to prompts. This includes using Google's Bard to improve image searching, generating better responses from the chatbot, and overall Search needs to scour the informative capabilities of what it has to bring.

Part of Google's plans for Bard was to integrate it among its different apps, not confining the renowned chatbot to the search engine alone. Google's AI development has seen its ups and downs, but at this time, the company is looking to bring more experiences to the public with an AI-powered approach to its apps, with Gmail, Docs, YouTube, and more of the Workspace now seeing Bard improve the experience.
