It's been more than a month since we listened to the exciting conclusion of the mega-successful podcast Serial. Though there have been plenty of developments in the 1999 murder conviction of then-Baltimore area teenager Adnan Syed, we've definitely been counting the days until Serial will come back into our lives for Season 2.
It was announced in November 2014 that a second season of Serial will definitely be happening. When that will be or what it will be about are still mysteries. Maybe Season 2 of Serial should be about solving that mystery.
Well, that's more of a story than we have already. Serial host Sarah Koenig spoke about the podcast at Penn State University Park's campus on Jan. 28. Unfortunately, Koenig didn't reveal what is in the works for Season 2. That's because she doesn't know any more about it than you do.
"If any of you has a story, there's an e-mail. No, we do not have a story," said Koenig during her talk, as reported by WPSU. That email, in case you were wondering, is info@serialpodcast.org.
Serial Season 2 is slated to come some time "later in 2015," according to the podcast's website. Considering that it took Koenig a year to report the story for Season 1, the Serial team better find an idea and fast if they want to have new episodes arrive this year.

While these are fascinating mysteries I'm sure we would all love to be solved, hopefully with Serial Season 2, Koenig and the rest of the Serial team are able to find a story we may not have heard about before but that is undeniably gripping. That worked for her in Season 1, at least.
