Elon Musk and His Controversies
Over the years, Elon Musk has grown famous because of his massive influence and companies that brought significant services to the world including Tesla, SpaceX, The Boring Co., alongside his recent purchase of Twitter, now named X.
However, even when Musk was still focused on Tesla, he managed to gain notoriety online, and this was because of the practice of his "free speech" where his "funding secured" tweet became a controversy for the SEC.
Back in December 2022, the controversial return of Kanye West had Musk using his hand to take the rapper's account down again, with Ye still posting anti-semitic tweets. This was after his initial return in October, with Ye being welcomed back to the platform and 12 hours after, the rapper getting his account temporarily suspended immediately after his tweet.
The eccentric tech billionaire is a massive pro-free speech advocate, but in his clarification, this does not mean that users or even himself are permitted to step out of bounds that hurt certain communities or groups. Now, he is taking the fight to the Anti-Defamation League, with the organization accusing the tech CEO falsely, and Musk not taking this claim lightly.
