Vintage products are hidden gems in almost all industries since they hold a great value in the eyes of collectors and fans. Well, the same case can be said for Apple enthusiasts who can finally add another device on their vintage stash.

According to MacRumors, the Cupertino firm has added the 13-inch and the 15-inch versions of MacBook Pro in its list of vintage products globally. Both of them were launched with the Touch Bar.

For an item to be considered as vintage, it should be distributed for sale for the last five years.

If you try to ask Apple to repair your obsolete gadget, the company will refuse because of the limited parts. They are not eligible anymore in Apple Authorized Service Providers and Apple Stores.

Aside from the outdated 2017 MacBook Pro, the 15-inch MacBook Pro from 2015 was also added to the vintage products list. This laptop has no Touch Bar. The last time this product sold out was in 2018.

It should be noted that the updated macOS Sonoma will be usable for the 2018 and later models of MacBook Pro.

The Touch Bar feature is a prominent addition to the Apple laptops. It was first brought in 2016, but at present, only the 13-inch MacBook Pro has this component.

In 2021, the iPhone maker decided to stick to the physical keys upon the launch of the MacBook Pro.
