The electrified version of the famous Mercedes-Benz van, the eSprinter, is now available in the United States, and the renowned utility vehicle's prices were recently unveiled by the company. This is part of Mercedes-Benz's pledge to join the clean energy revolution in the world, with the company vowing to only sell electric vehicles by 2030, with its entire fleet making the change.
Its electric version of the Sprinter van will bring the high-roof configuration to the United States, one that has been popular for years to match that of Ford and Volkswagen.
Mercedes-Benz eSprinter Electric Van Price Revealed
The eSprinter is here, and Mercedes-Benz recently announced the pricing it will bring to US dealerships, as it was made available by the company for interested customers to buy.
The base, 170-inch wheelbase with high-roof configuration and 113 kWh battery will be available for $71,886, featuring a premium price in the electric van market.
According to The Verge, it is a more expensive van compared to the earlier released Ford E-Transit and the Volkswagen ID.Buzz, both centering on the e-van categories.
Mercedes-Benz's eSprinter is currently in production in the company's local plant in Charleston, South Carolina, and other models are made in its home factories in Germany's Ludwigsfelde and Düsseldorf.

Mercedes-Benz eSprinter Electric Van Specs
Considering its long wheelbase and high-roof configuration, the eSprinter also boasts a massive 249 miles (400 km) on its battery's full charge, but these are not yet EPA estimates and may vary.
It also comes equipped with the ECO Assist technology which aims to help maximize the e-van's range, as well as its recuperation mode that will guide drivers on their drive.
Mercedes-Benz's Take on EVs
The shift to clean energy has been felt and seen globally, with the car industry headlining this adoption, and many companies in the world have pledged to take on the challenge to bring electrified versions of their cars for all. One of Mercedes-Benz's most significant actions here is to upgrade its existing EV Motor Factory that can handle a yearly capacity of 1 million units.
