There are no other brands like Apple, and there are no other CEOs and founders like Steve Jobs, and this is evidenced in the recent auction where a handwritten Apple-1 ad by the executive sold for a massive $175,000. This handwritten Apple-1 ad shows the actual penmanship of the late Apple founder and owner, with the copy and text coming from the man himself.
Handwritten Apple-1 Ad by Steve Jobs Sold for $175k
A piece of old paper with an advertisement copy is not that impressive, but if it came from Steve Jobs which he handwrote himself and signed at the bottom could be a cause of craze for collectors. A lot from RR Auction has sold as much as $175,759 when it closed earlier, and this is the rare and maybe one-of-its-kind handwritten Apple-1 ad from Steve Jobs.
This collection features the handwritten ad copy itself from Jobs, as well as two polaroid photos that show one of the earliest working prototypes of the Apple-1 computer, and the advertisement itself, printed on paper.
The Apple-1 is known to be the first computer released by the then Apple Computer Company which Jobs, along with fellow college dropout, Steve Wozniak back in 1976.

What Does the Apple-1 Ad Say?
According to Tech Radar, the Apple-1 ad that Jobs handwrote contained the specs of the computer that the duo originally marketed, complete with its package of power supplies, 8KB of RAM, outputs for connecting monitors, and a deal for its board and manual for $75 only.
Here, Jobs also signed the paper, alongside the address of the original headquarters of Apple in his parents' home garage in Palo Alto where Apple was founded. The Polaroid photos also had Jobs' notes on the image.
Steve Jobs Memorabilia
It has proven to be a massive thing at auctions when the lot sold or listed by the auction house came from Apple's origins, with its vintage products marking up more than the most expensive of tech it sells now. One example would be the first check that Steve Jobs signed himself, with the memorabilia fetching as much as $100,000 at an auction in July.
The renowned CEO and Apple founder has found himself the center of auction memorabilia as these are the last remaining actual memorabilia of him which he made from scratch, apart from the Apple company.
Even the first-generation Apple which is considered a vintage product by the company now has sold for as much as $55,000 at an auction, with the device sealed and unused since 2007 when it was first released.
Arguably, Jobs' legacy remains one of the most important to the tech world, and is continuously an icon in the industry, as most products from Apple are still highly-regarded and retain their massive value. Apple's beginnings were quaint and grounded, with the company and its founders starting the company from a garage in California, and its advertisements, handwritten by Steve Jobs, now a massive deal at auctions.
