"Red Dead Redemption 2" has been the subject of many modders, and recently, a new mod was created that somehow restores previously unused dialogue to the game.
Rockstar Games 'Red Dead Redemption 2' Mod Brings New Dialogue to the Game
According to Game Rant, Rockstar Games' "Red Dead Redemption 2" has a particular mod that allows players to bring up a dialogue that was initially cut and never actually utilized. This mod, called "Cut Dialogue Enhanced," can be added to the game allowing players to get more about the world and voice of Arthur Morgan.
While most gamers know Red Dead Redemption to be set in what can only be described as an "expansive open world," with no new news from Rockstar Games, modders have added new content to the title.
Despite it being a while since the game's official launch, players are continuing to try and look for additional details within the game. This results in quite a surprise for players to learn that the game had more than it initially launched with.
The Mod Surfaces Content That Didn't Make Its Way to the Game's Final Cut
While the mod brings up content that didn't make it to the game's final cut, it can only be accessed in the PC version of the title and not the console version. With the help of the mod, players would be able to uncover additional content within the game.
This "Cut Dialogue Enhanced" mod was posted on Nexus Mods and created by the user roastedflamingo. While this mod was based upon the "Cut Dialogue Restoration and Enhancement" mod, which was earlier released, the newer mod goes beyond by restoring everything the previous mod accomplished.
According to the mod's description, the dialogue was related to shopping, fighting, and even dodging bullets. It was also reported that certain lines were restored regarding how the player's character would deal with law enforcement.
Rockstar Games Has Not Had Any New Updates for 'Red Dead Redemption 2' for a While
Interestingly, the different lines players will hear regarding replying to law enforcement have something to do with the "Honor" of Arthur Morgan. The creator noted that the mod restored hundreds of audio lines to the game.
Players could look at this as a pleasant surprise since "Red Dead Redemption 2" already has thousands of voice lines coming from the in-game characters. For players who've already spent hundreds or even thousands of hours on the game, adding restored lines could be refreshing.
However, the added dialogue in the mod, unfortunately, makes players think about everything that could have been if Rockstar Games had given it more focus and effort to use them.
For many years, players even thought that the developer would release a DLC that would allow them to play in Mexico, but the Mexico map ultimately went unused.
