Lamborghini’s Fully Electric Supercar Teased Ahead of Launch—Here’s What to Expect

No clear pictures yet but it looks to be insane.

You may soon pull up in a Lambo without having to worry if it brings too much emissions or air pollution, as the company is now teasing the upcoming fully-electric supercar which it is deemed to unveil this week. Lamborghini is making the world save the date for the upcoming reveal event that would officially introduce its first take on a clean-energy supercar.

Electric vehicles are still on the verge of introducing the world with a different kind of experience, with the new Lamborghini shaping up to be the future of supercars with clean energy.

Lamborghini let the public in for a little teaser of the upcoming reveal event of its upcoming release, with the company inviting the world to join them by Friday, August 18.

The teaser only gave the public a silhouette and top shape of the upcoming vehicle, and from there, it can be confirmed that it will be a supercar and not its SUV development.

According to Engadget, this is set to be the fully-electric supercar reveal from Lamborghini, a vehicle that the company has pledged to deliver in accordance with the massive shift to EVs.

However, the report claims that this may not yet be a finished product, meaning that this reveal may only be an unveiling but may not point out its actual release date.

That being said, Lamborghini's upcoming event will give users more answers to what this vehicle would be, especially in what platform will it take and transform as a clean energy car.

With the report, this vehicle may still be a prototype or an initial concept look, but it will bring a lot of information regarding Lambo's EV development, one that aligns with its 2030 goal.

Lamborghini and its Supercars

One of the most significant reports for Lamborghini is that the company is looking to leave its internal combustion engine roots and head towards clean energy with battery-powered cars. However, that is not something that will hinder Lamborghini in bringing its significant design and performance to its cars, with it still centering on supercars and hypercars.

Late last year, we also saw the Huracan Sterrato EV from Lamborghini which unveiled the company's take on a clean energy car that centers on its all-terrain supercar. It is widely known that the Huracan Sterrato was designed to go beyond the asphalt, complete with its modified off-road look, Rally mode, fog lamps, beefy fenders, and more.

Now, the company is looking to bring another unveiling of an electric supercar from its lineup, with the world having no idea what this next release would be. The good thing is it builds an expectation for the public that it will be another supercar of the company, now featuring the battery setup to power its drivetrain and bring clean energy mobility for its users.
