LEGO recently announced its The Insect Collection (21342) which is set to come to store shelves and to be released on September 4 for VIPs/Insiders. It was highlighted that the set comes in 1,111 pieces and will be retailing at the price of $79.99.
The Experience Comes with Its Own Playlist which Buyers can Listen to While Playing with the Set
The set will reportedly feature a few insects all with their own stands. This includes a blue morpho butterfly, Hercules beetle, honeybee, ladybug, and the Chinese Mantis. It was also noted that there would be a brand new Green Noise playlist that buyers can listen to if they want to really get into the insect-themed experience of building the LEGO set.
As per the press release, it was noted the LEGO Group launched the playlist in order to celebrate the new set. It was reportedly created with the help of Sanaa Kelley, an Emmy-nominated Foley artist to create the unique sounds that builders can listen to.
The Sound was Inspired by Nature and the ASMR Playlist is a Total of 45 Minutes Long
The sound was described as a nature-inspired ASMR playlist that comes with LEGO click sounds as well as each insect's unique sounds. The total length of the playlist reaches 45 minutes and aims to bring the insects to life.
As seen in the pictures, while there are other small bugs, the highlighted ones are the butterfly, beetle, and Chinese Mantis. For those obsessed with butterflies, fans would be pleased to see the blue-patterned butterfly perched on a stem.

Buyers can Play Around with Certain Things Like the Butterfly's Pattern
The butterfly is joined by a bee and for those daring enough, if they have other sets, they can combine parts and swap out the design to add color to the butterfly. However, it's recommended that builders only do this once they officially complete the set.
Another work of art is really the Chinese praying mantis, which comes with a realistic design where builders can even create their chomping claws, eyes, antenna, and small beak. Lastly, buyers would also get a beetle with which base has two blue mushrooms.
When it comes to the beetle, buyers would be able to open up its back shell to reveal the wings underneath. Like the butterfly, builders who are confident enough can swap out certain parts on the wings to make it more colorful or to play around with the colors.
