Uday Pitambare's BrewApps Makes It Easier for Businesses to Compete in a Digital Landscape

71% of businesses have a website, making it clear that an online presence is no longer a choice if business owners want to be successful. However, just like the internet began sweeping the business community a decade or two ago, mobile applications are the new focal point. You've probably noticed that nearly every business wants you to download their application to track your flight, purchase clothes, or even sign up for events. App-based startups have 825% higher IPO prices than non-app-based startups, meaning that the move into the mobile application space is becoming the next digital focus for businesses.

The problem with the push for digital interfaces is that many startups operate with lean teams. They don't have software engineers and UI/UX designers ready to build state-of-the-art websites, mobile applications, or the infrastructure needed to stand it all up. That's where BrewApps comes in. Started by Uday Pitambare and his co-founder, Sagar Mutha, BrewApps takes on all the heavy lifting that comes with mobile application development and other technological business processes. This allows their clients to focus on the primary functions of their businesses instead of spending time trying to learn how to design a website or hiring a new team member to take it on.

For Uday, software engineering has always been second nature. He started trying out new skills on the computer his parents purchased for his older brother when he was a young boy, and from there, he was forever fascinated by technology. He's formally educated with a master's in computer science and took on a number of software engineering roles prior to starting BrewApps.

Before he was a co-founder, Uday was an innovator in the autonomous driving space. At Aptiv, he helped develop the technology for 3 different patents, aiming to make autonomous driving safer and more efficient. Leaning on deep learning and computer vision, Uday helped tie information from driving simulators into each car that went on the road, equipping the vehicles with more information to help them make decisions while driving. After Aptiv, he spent some time supporting a hospital in India by training a deep learning system to triage and diagnose pulmonary tuberculosis based on X-ray images.

His skill as an engineer was never in question when starting BrewApps. Mobile application development can be complex and nuanced, but Uday has always been a quick learner and fascinated by technological advancements. These characteristics together help him keep his skills sharp and applicable in the ever-changing technological landscape. It also helps that Uday has an incredible team of developers and designers working with him to advance BrewApps offerings and capabilities. What started out as a two-man startup has turned into a booming business with a growing team of 30+ people.

Experiencing the challenges of hiring their own team, Uday and Sagar have developed a product to help enterprises automate their hiring functions. TestDojo is a Generative AI-powered SaaS platform that conducts interactive skills-based screening interviews without human intervention. "At BrewApps, we're translating the immense power of AI into practical solutions that truly make a difference. TestDojo is our attempt to provide enterprises with a useful tool to solve the time-consuming hiring problem. TestDojo is already used by several companies who successfully leverage this tool to solve their hiring needs." Uday explained.

Entrepreneurship is often about solving problems that you encounter personally, and for Uday and Sagar, TestDojo is proof of that. With passionate co-founders and a very capable team, BrewApps will continue to support businesses of different sizes in all sectors and industries. Its applications will even the playing field for businesses, ensuring that entrepreneurs with no technical development skills can compete in today's digital landscape.
