As "Diablo 4" fans asked for more, Blizzard has heard their calls and will be rolling out new upgrades along with Patch 1.1.1. The latest patch would reportedly give players access to Sorcerer and Barbarian buffs.
Blizzard Confirms New 'Diablo 4' Buffs for Sorcerers and Barbarians Classes
According to Tech Radar, Blizzard has confirmed that there would be new "Diablo 4" buffs specifically for sorcerers and barbarians. The news came from senior members of the "Diablo 4" development team, who gave more information regarding the upcoming update.
Joe Piepora, associate game director; Adam Jackson, lead class designer; Joe Shely, director; and Adam Fletcher, associate director of community management, made the confirmation as they talked about the previous issues that players experienced with Patch 1.1.0.
Aside from the issues, the group also discussed what players should expect upon the release of Patch 1.1.1, which is set to roll out on August 8. Fans can check this video uploaded on YouTube regarding the "Diablo IV Campfire Chat" to get more info about the upcoming update.
'Diablo 4' Team Promise to Change Something on the Sorcerers and Barbarians Classes
It was reported that the highlighted part of the presentation was the changes to the classes, wherein the team noted that all classes would get the necessary attention they deserved. That means that the Sorcerers and Barbarians would also be getting significant improvements with regard to their strength and resilience.
Jackson highlighted how they wanted to improve the fun and effectiveness of the Sorcerer and Barbarian classes. The team noted that their goal was to be able to look for a solution and that they were already working on it.
The solution would effectively provide different ways to deal with damage while also having more parity. Upon the launch of Patch 1.1.1, Sorcerers would be able to make it through until later in the game.
'Diablo 4' Team Will Also be Working on Other Game Details Like the Necromancer Minion Builds
When Patch 1.1.1 is deployed, Sorcerers will reportedly find it easier to survive late-game activities by removing some detrimental item effects. On the other hand, Barbarians will get more Fury to invest in their skills. The team further noted that players should also expect positive changes to their Unique items.
However, PC Gamer also reported how Blizzard noted that they still need more time to work on certain things, such as the Necromancer minion builds. Because of this, players should expect those changes further down the line.
The new changes are expected to be launched soon, with the games' developers promising to work on future changes for the title. Since the team promised improvements for all classes, players might be able to expect additional changes, not just for the Sorcerers or Barbarians.
